Oh no I didn't know about the comic!

I heard it was three parts. Maybe I'm wrong?

Look I'm totally biased with zombie films. I enjoy most of them! Did you watch 28 Days when it first came out?

Yeah I grew up a bit addicted to zombie/disaster films. But I was only 7 when 28 Days Later released so it must've been a few more years until I first saw it, but I definitely would've been far younger than I should've been. I was always watching the films that would air on BBC2 and Channel 4 at night. Do you remember when the BBC would air the classic James Bond films every Friday night?

I think late night tv is probably where I first saw 28 Days/Weeks Later.

Channel 4 got me into international cinema though, from a really young age I remember seeing things like Chungking Express or Battle Royale. Also some great Asian martial arts films!

I didn't grow up in the UK do although we did get BBC stuff in Australia we would be more likely to see those films on DVD or at the movies.

I was 30 when it was released so I'm a bit older than you haha. So maybe it hit different as I saw it when it came out. It certainly was fresh.

Ah Battle Royale!!! That was crazy too when it hit. Ground breaking films for time.
