Celebridad (netflix k-drama review)

Saludos Hivers, feliz inicio de semana para todos. Ya estamos a pocos días de finalizar el año y los sentimientos encontrados están a flor de piel, misma razón por la que he estado descuidando mi blog, ya no es tanto por un factor de tiempo, ahora es más por cómo me he sentido anímicamente y no ha sido del todo bien.

Sin embargo, aquí estoy nuevamente porque lo importante es seguir intentado una y otra vez a pesar de todo y más con la convicción de que todo al final va a estar muy bien y sobre todo compartir con ustedes las mejores reseñas desde mis posibilidades para que tengan una mejor visión de lo que quisieran ver estos últimos días del 2023.

Para esta ocasión he escogido uno de los doramas que se ha convertido según mi criterio en la segunda drama más importante e impactante en el ámbito del tema social y todas sus problemáticas. Para mi fue difícil encontrar un dorama que destronara a "The glory" este año ya que ha sido la mejor producción antes no vista en lo que se considera las novelas coreanas.

Celebridad está llena de temas muy oscuros de la sociedad y las personas que de la noche a la mañana pueden tenerlo todo pero incluso perderlo. La cosa es que cada capítulo va escudriñando todas las acciones que estás celebridades específicamente la de redes sociales hacen para poder llegar a grandes cifras de seguidores, ser toda una tendencia y convertirse en el mejor de todos.

For this occasion I have chosen one of the doramas that has become in my opinion the second most important and shocking drama in the field of social and all its problematic. It was hard for me to find a dorama that could dethrone "Glory" this year as it has been the best production not seen before in what is considered Korean dramas.


Celebrity is full of very dark themes about society and people who overnight can have it all but even lose it. What happens is that every episode scrutinizes all the actions that these celebrities specifically the one on social media do in order to reach huge amounts of followers, be all trending and become the best of all.

Park Kyu-young quien hace el rol de Seo A-ri en esta drama de suspenso, es una joven que se dedica a vender productos de Skin Care elaborados por ella misma. Su padre quien antes era alguien adinerado, murió luego de quedar en banca rota y dejar a su familia sin nada. Así que A-ri tuvo que dejar la escuela para poder trabajar y sobrevivir junto a su familia.

Sin embargo, su vida cambia luego de acudir a una fiesta de lujo llena de celebridades. Una en particular se fija en ella como alguien que tiene diferencias entre ese mundo de hipocresía y poderes sociales. Una acción de defensa lleva a que ella este en los titulares como alguien incógnito del que todo mundo quiere saber su vida.

Esto da a entender que la influencia de estar incluso cerca de estás celebridades te convierte en alguien que está al ojo público pudiendo ser destruido o llevado a un pedestal hasta convertirte incluso en un influencer.

Justo esto le pasa a A-ri cuando una de sus viejas amigas del colegio la usa y manipula para que sus espectadores aumenten y con ello cada una de las noticias oscuras sobre ella desaparezcan. Es decir, esta clase social usa a las personas para que los tabloides se enfoquen a lo que ellos más les convienen.

Her once wealthy father died after going bankrupt and leaving her family with nothing. So A-ri had to drop out of school in order to work and survive with her family.


However, her life changes after she attends a fancy party full of celebrities. One in particular notices her as someone who has a difference in the world of hypocrisy and social powers. A defensive action leads to her making headlines as someone incognito whose life everyone wants to know about.


This implies that the influence of being even close to these celebrities makes you someone who is in the public eye and can be destroyed or put on a pedestal and even become an influencer.


Just this happens to A-ri when one of her old school friends uses and manipulates her so that her viewers increase and with that every single obscure news about her disappears. In other words, this social class uses people to make the tabloids focus on what suits them best.

Sin embargo, estas acciones le dan a demostrar a A-ri lo que realmente es el mundo de las celebridades o influencers que tanto la gente admira. Se deja ver no solo la manipulación de los medios de una vida que no es ni cercana a lo que ellos muestras en sus RRSS, llegando incluso a traicionar a sus amigos para obtener un día más de fama y seguidores.

Desde la venta de artículos falsos revendidos a altos precios por el simple hecho de ser celebridades, hasta el hecho de usar el pasado de personas para hacerlas caer de donde estan y ellos subir en el rating.

Claramente este es un mundo competitivo, y dentro de la realidad hay muchas de estas cosas que se dan y es justo lo que quieren mostrar en esta producción. El dolor que sufre la gente al ser objeto de las críticas en las redes sociales, personas que no te conocen pero te juzgan y todo aquello que involucra ser el objetivo de alguien por simple placer o envidia.

Hay un tema sobre el bullying también bastante enfatizado dentro del mismo ámbito de las redes sociales como la forma más efectiva de hacer caer a alguien moralmente hasta tal punto de querer o desaparecer sus cuentas de RRSS, o suicidarse.

Clearly this is a competitive world, and in reality there are many of these things that happen and that is exactly what they want to show in this production. The pain that people suffer from being the object of criticism on social networks, people who don't know you but judge you and everything that involves being the target of someone for simple pleasure or envy.


There is a theme about bullying also quite emphasized within the same scope of social networks as the most effective way to make someone fall morally to the point of wanting to disappear their social network accounts, or commit suicide.

El mensaje directo de este dorama es que las cosas que solemos ver en la web no son todas reales y que si bien es una herramienta que puede proyectar positivamente una marca o empresa, a veces se convierte en un arma de doble filo. Básicamente estás firmando un contrato de dependencia dónde tienes que vivir según las tendencias para poder aumentar las estadísticas.

En el caso de esta drama, cualquier paso en falso, hace que los seguidores de estás celebridades se reduzcan. El suspenso que le han agregado a este dorama es bastante bueno, considerando que no se trata de asesinatos más bien de un problema social real.

Los capítulos finales son algo del otro mundo. Quien llegue a ver este dorama no podrá despegarse de la tv o irse a dormir, porque cada capítulo en si te deja deseando aún más incluso se estudia la posibilidad en rumores de una segunda temporada porque han sabido explotar este tema social tan crucial en la realidad.

In the case of this drama, any misstep can cause these celebrities' followers to dwindle. The suspense they have added to this dorama is quite good, considering that it is not about murders but a real social problem.


The final chapters are out of this world. Whoever gets to see this dorama will not be able to take off from the TV or go to sleep, because each chapter itself leaves you wanting even more even the possibility is studied in rumors of a second season because they have managed to exploit this social issue so crucial in reality.

Este personaje en particular es como la madre protectoras de todas, es en si mi favorito, porque muestra una tranquilidad ante ciertas situaciones y una resolución de ciertos eventos fascinante. Es la primera vez que veo a esta actriz pero al verdad que quede totalmente enamorado de ella.

Su interpretación es impecable y dentro de este drama su papel es clave para da a entender lo que viven las personas adineradas, con matrimonios arreglados y el hecho de vivir en una mentira con la opción de ser libre teniendo la responsabilidad indirecta de un daño colateral hacia su familia.

Su vida de cierto modo es una de las mas trágicas, pues a pesar de tenerlo todo en un nivel social bastante comodo, es alguien que no le ofrecen un amor verdadero, que tiene que vivir ante la sociedad como alguien perfecto para no "manchar" a los que le rodean.

Her performance is impeccable and within this drama her role is key to understand what wealthy people live, with arranged marriages and the fact of living in a lie with the option of being free having the indirect responsibility of collateral damage to her family.


His life in a way is one of the most tragic, because despite having everything in a fairly comfortable social level, he is someone who is not offered a true love, who has to live before society as someone perfect to not "tarnish" those around him.
