Eric (Miniserie netflix review)

Excelente miércoles para todos por aquí. de este lado estamos por una parte contento que mi contenido sobre cine ha sido votado más de lo que había esperado, y por el otro lado pues, mejor no mencionarlo que no es tan necesario porque no se puede hacer más que solo seguir intentando y tener fuerzas para ello.

Excellent Wednesday for everyone around here. Hoy vengo nuevamente con una miniserie que aun me tiene algo pensativo, sobre todo por el hecho que me ha hecho sentir varias cosas de las cuales no me siento identificado como tal, pero que en cierto punto debería.

Today I come again with a miniseries that still has me a little thoughtful, mainly because it has made me feel several things that I do not feel identified as such, but at a certain point I should.

La verdad es que no se, si es porque no le estaba prestando el 100% de atención, o es que los actores no me han convencido del todo, y seguramente si han visto esta serie titulada "Eric" más de uno va a pensar que estoy equivocado, pero pues, ciertamente no me senti comodo con la actuación.

The truth is that I don't know if it's because I wasn't paying 100% attention to it, or if it's because the actors didn't convince me at all, and surely if you have seen this series titled “Eric” more than one will think I'm wrong, but well, I certainly didn't feel comfortable with the acting.

Creo que la actuación menos gustada por mi es la del niño, siendo que es exageradamente inexpresivo y que tal vez ese es el papel ideal para alguien que sufre las consecuencias de la disfunción familiar, sin embargo, no se si hay un tema psicológico de fondo allí que no se ha explicado del todo y que es un agregado a su comportamiento dentro de su papel.

I think the least liked performance for me is that of the boy, being that he is exaggeratedly inexpressive and that perhaps that is the ideal role for someone who suffers the consequences of family dysfunction, however, I do not know if there is a background psychological issue there that has not been fully explained and that is an addition to his behavior within his role.

La otra cuestión es que nunca me he sentido cómodo con las tramas que involucran algún tipo de sufrimiento o abuso a niños, y pues esta serie contiene ambos temas en sí.

The other issue is that I have never felt comfortable with plots that involve any kind of suffering or child abuse, and this series contains both issues.

Lo que sí es cierto es que no deja de ser una tremenda serie en cuanto a su contenido, el mensaje que quieren proyectar y la realidad de una sociedad en el transcurrir de los años que no ha aprendido aún a esta fecha a ser humanos de buen corazón.

What is certain is that it is still a tremendous series in terms of its content, the message they want to project and the reality of a society in the passing of the years that has not yet learned to this date to be good-hearted humans.

Yendo entonces directamente a la serie, consta de 6 capítulos cargado de emociones muy negativas a mi perspectiva, dado que los momentos en que puedes llegar a sentir tranquilidad o alguna emoción positiva son muy pocos, esto lo hace una serie que te va a mantener algo tenso.

Going then directly to the series, it consists of 6 chapters loaded with very negative emotions to my perspective, since the moments in which you can get to feel tranquility or any positive emotion are very few, this makes it a series that will keep you somewhat tense.

Si bien no he sido padre de un bebe humano aun, hay ciertas reacciones y comportamientos predeterminados que me incomodaron muchísimo, no voy a decir que me han confundido porque todo mundo no tiene la misma forma de reaccionar ante una circunstancia difícil, pero creo que si hubiese hecho lo necesario y contrario a cosas que muestran aquí.

Hay un tema no tan profundo al inicio sobre la homosexualidad, y por supuesto, el tiempo donde se ambientiza esta serie es de esos donde la sexualidad fuera de la "normalidad" era algo inmoral donde personas tomaban "justicia" con sus propias manos.

Este punto, es clave en la serie, desde el punto de vista de las personas que sufren las consecuencias de una sociedad cruda y también de la que son víctimas de homicidio por lo mismo. El problema en todo esto y que es una realidad, es que se trate de menores de edad quienes sean las víctimas.

This point is key in the series, from the point of view of the people who suffer the consequences of a crude society and also of those who are victims of homicide for the same reason. The problem in all this, which is a reality, is that it is minors who are the victims.

Hay una representación llamada Eric, que si me preguntan en la personalidad de un monstruo en persona, es decir, este niño llevó la personalidad de alguien a una fantasía, siendo esta la forma en que pudiera expresar lo que siente y ve.

Eric is also the voice of someone who cannot express the truth of something positive, as if it were the camouflage of someone who does not know how to be a father, to be a suffering son and at the same time be a good husband and citizen.

Sin embargo, Eric es la única salida que tiene una persona para encontrar a su hijo y para encontrarse a sí mismo mediante su realidad y lo que ha conllevado ser alguien tóxico y destructivo en un ámbito familiar y laboral.

However, Eric is the only way out for a person to find his son and to find himself through his reality and what it has entailed to be someone toxic and destructive in a family and work environment.
