Fin de semana en Croacia (netflix movie review)

Feliz martes Hivers, ya estamos en la recta final de este mes por ende la mitad del 2023. Que rápido pasa el tiempo, como dicen por allí pasa por frente nuestra nariz y no nos damos cuenta.

Justo el tiempo es uno de los factores de esta reseña de hoy, primero porque esta película la había visto la semana pasada y no tengo ni idea de qué pasó, pues hasta ahorita fue que recordé que no le había hecho su respectiva reseña.

Segundo porque dentro de la película se toca un punto importante sobre el descuido de una persona que no solo se casó, también se convirtió en madre primeriza y pues todo esto hizo que su vida social se complicará un poco, por no decir que no tenía.

Y tercero porque la trama principal ocurre rápido pero se lleva toda la película para descubrir muchas verdades que pues, me han dejado bastante a gusto.

Second, because the movie touches an important point about the neglect of a person who not only got married, but also became a new mother and all this made her social life a little complicated, not to say that she didn't have one.


And third because the main plot happens fast but it takes the whole movie to discover many truths that have left me quite comfortable.

Beth es una joven madre bastante guapa a mi parecer pero muy descuidada también quien se dejo influenciar mucho por el hecho de tener que ser solo madre ante todo y además perdió ese toque de placer que tenía en su vida marital por cuestiones ajenas a una real explicación en la trama más allá de las especulaciones.

Kate su mejor amiga a quien tiene mucho tiempo sin ver, le invita a pasar un fin de semana en Croacia para recordar viejos tiempos de cuando salían a tomar, bailar y disfrutar sin preocupación alguna.

Debo decir que Croacia me encantó porque se ve muy cálido aparte de que el sitio donde estaban se podía ver el mar, una total belleza la verdad y fue el punto medio para darle ese toque caribeño y disfrute de un buen fin de semana.

Aunque este par de chicas tenían algo más en mente que sólo playa o bañarse en un jacuzzi bastante lujoso.

En su primera noche ambas van a cenar y tienen una conversación bastante íntima de sus relaciones y vidas actuales, algo que luego se vuelve un poco incómodo por una situación de Kate quien está pasando por una separación y con ello ciertos temas económicos.

I must say that I loved Croatia because it looks very warm and the place where they were, you could see the sea, a total beauty and it was the middle point to give that Caribbean touch and enjoy a good weekend.


Although this pair of girls had more in mind than just the beach or soaking in a rather luxurious jacuzzi.


On their first night they both go to dinner and have a rather intimate conversation about their current relationships and lives, something that then becomes a bit awkward due to Kate's situation who is going through a separation and with it certain economic issues.

Sin embargo, la noche es joven y nada les iba a impedir que disfrutaran su primer día, por lo que la mejor amiga de Beth la lleva a bailar a una disco y no solo eso, se consigue un par de jóvenes interesados en pasar la noche bailando con ellas.

A partir de aquí empiezan a salir las piezas que debemos ir encajando para entender la trama de esta historia. Pues Beth despierta desorientada en el hotel donde se hospedan, sin recordar todo lo ocurrido y con su amiga Kate perdida.

Obviamente debe ser desesperante estar en un país que no conoces y aparte tener que enfrentar todo lo que Beth vivió para descubrir el paradero de Kate.

Con esta perdida, muchas cosas de la vida de Beth salen a la luz, desde una traición, infidelidad hasta la posibilidad de convertirse en la principal sospechosa de un delito grave.

En su camino hace una amistad con el taxista encargado de su traslado quién es clave también en toda esta historia de suspenso.

Esta película es muy engañosa, tanto que pensé en muchos culpables y casi que con pruebas contundentes. Por eso es importante prestar mucha atención a los detalles y sobre todo, llegar al final, pues solo allí está la verdad de uno de los dilemas más desgarradores de la película.
