Sous la Seine (netflix movie review)

Saludos hivers, feliz día para todos. Hoy he amanecido nuevamente mal, pues el virus me agarró muy fuerte y justo en las noches es que la pasó muy mal, pero bueno, ya estoy en tratamiento y pues hay que seguir en la lucha diaria.

Ayer mientras descansaba un poco mi pareja y yo nos pusimos a ver una película al hacer, y escogimos la que estaba top 1, solemos hacer esto casi siempre y la verdad nunca nos ha defraudado, sin embargo, hubiese preferido no verla porque no me suele gustar ese tipo de trama.

Cuando una película trata de tiburones, lo más que te puedes esperar es sangre, terror y cuerpos desmembrados, pues esto justamente es lo que más sucede "En las profundidades del Sena".

Nunca pensé que iba a ver alguna vez una trama donde se mezclara las bellezas de París con lo horrible que es ser cazado por un tiburón que más bien deben cazar para evitar una tragedia.

! [English Text] Greetings hivers, happy day to all. Today I woke up bad again, because the virus caught me very strong and just at night is that I had a very bad time, but well, I'm already in treatment and we must continue in the daily struggle.


Yesterday while I was resting a little my partner and I started to watch a movie, and we chose the one that was top 1, we usually do this almost always and the truth has never let us down, however, I would have preferred not to see it because I usually do not like that kind of plot.


When a movie is about sharks, the most you can expect is blood, terror and dismembered bodies, this is exactly what happens in “In the depths of the Seine”.


I never thought I would ever see a plot where the beauties of Paris are mixed with the horror of being hunted by a shark that must be hunted to avoid a tragedy.

Las primeras escenas fuertes de esta película lo hace ya de una manera muy surrealista, considerando que un cuerpo a la gran velocidad y profundidad del océano no es capaz de sobrevivir como lo hizo esta persona siendo arrastrado por un tiburón "mutante".

Acá le digo mutante, dado que al parecer genéticamente esta especie ha sufrido cambios lo cual lo hace una nueva especie en constante evolución, haciendo que su ecosistema cambie incluso de aguas profundas y saladas, hasta aguas dulces de mazmorras.

Este cambio genético pudiera deberse a la grave contaminación ambiental que se muestran en las primeras escenas, esto, es algo que no se deja muy en claro, y que pues, pudiera tal vez explicarse en una segunda parte, pues el final ha dejado de qué hablar.

Hay un tema de política y egos bastante arraigado en el cual se pone en peligro la vida de muchos atletas que están a punto de nadar no solo contra corriente, también contra tiburones que podrían estar al acecho.

! [English Text] The first strong scenes of this film already do it in a very surreal way, considering that a body at the great speed and depth of the ocean is not able to survive as this person was dragged by a “mutant” shark.


Here I say mutant, since it seems that genetically this species has undergone changes which makes it a new species in constant evolution, making its ecosystem change even from deep and salty waters, to fresh waters of dungeons.


This genetic change could be due to the serious environmental pollution shown in the first scenes, this is something that is not made very clear, and that could perhaps be explained in a second part, since the ending has left something to talk about.


There is a deep-rooted theme of politics and egos that endangers the lives of many athletes who are about to swim not only against the current, but also against sharks that could be lurking.

Si bien no es una película catalogada directamente como tópico de terror, estoy seguro que más de uno se va a asombrar y asustar, yo en lo particular siento algo de asco al ver grandes cantidades de sangre e incluso pensar ser una víctima de los dientes de un tiburón.

Entonces esta trama está catalogada más en un sentido gore, por el alto contenido de crueldad. Dicha crueldad se usa como una excusa por parte de una proteccionista del mar que busca la forma de devolver a este tiburón "perdido" al mar para que pueda sobrevivir.

Sin embargo, la realidad es otra pues dicho tiburón es no solo inteligente, también muy rápido y con una fuerza tenaz. Ya luego se descubre que se puede procrear sin tener un tiburón macho y que el crecimiento de las crías es realmente potencial.

Lo que provoca una ola de preocupaciones pues estos depredadores pudieran colonizar enteramente el mar y por ende el ecosistema acuático pudiera perder su equilibrio, así que de una u otra forma la salida es intentar acabar con esta especie.

! [English Text] Although it is not a film directly categorized as a horror topic, I am sure that more than one will be shocked and scared, I in particular feel some disgust to see large amounts of blood and even think of being a victim of the teeth of a shark.


So this plot is categorized more in a gore sense, because of the high content of cruelty. This cruelty is used as an excuse by an ocean protectionist who looks for a way to return this “lost” shark to the sea so that it can survive.


However, the reality is different because this shark is not only intelligent, but also very fast and with a tenacious strength. It is later discovered that it is possible to procreate without a male shark and that the growth of the pups has real potential.


This provokes a wave of concerns because these predators could colonize the entire sea and therefore the aquatic ecosystem could lose its balance, so one way or another the way out is to try to wipe out this species.

Pero pues, al llegar los últimos minutos de la trama, se crea una tragedia aún mayor de lo previsto, lo cual invita al espectador a pensar que si puede haber una segunda parte de esta película y que de verdad la merecemos.

No es como si todos los días la casa se te inunda con miles de tiburones alrededor.

! [English Text] But then, in the last minutes of the plot, an even greater tragedy than expected is created, which invites the viewer to think that if there can be a second part of this film and that we really deserve it.


It's not like every day your house is flooded with thousands of sharks around you.
