Cine TV Contest #30 - Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness
This film is full of strange events, which had a role in directing the film in this way, and also for the dark atmosphere in which this film was, which is also filled with red lights that make me feel sleepy from time to time.
The events of the film revolve around the opening of a portal from another cosmic dimension by America Chavez, which reaches the planet Earth in the current Marvel universe. The results of the investigation that there is a coming evil aims to destroy the cosmic dimensions.
Doctor Strange, the second part, directed by Sam Raimi, director of the first Spider trilogy, starring Tobey Maguire, and also director of the Evil Dead trilogy, which made his name as a comedy horror, and after an absence of 14 years. The director's last film was in 2009 with the horror movie Drag Me To Hell, which took Mixed reviews between positive and negative audience, and in the movie “Doctor Strange Part Two”, the director maintains his horror and comedic style at the same time, and there are technical and technical elements similar to the movie “Drag Me To Hell.”
Also, as noted from the film, this time, Dr. Strange is not the hero, but there are characters who control the events of the film, so that there is a character who made a change in the story and that character was not secondary, but was a guest of honor in only two scenes, which is different from the events of the first part, which were the focus of its events Doctor Strange.
One of the important secondary characters in the film is the character of Wang, whose relationship with Doctor Strange has become so strong that Wang allows Strange to do what is forbidden in the world of magic. The mother is missing in her life, and that is what she saw in the character.
As for the important character in the film, it is Scarlet Witch, who was presented in a different and pivotal framework somewhat similar to what happened in the Wandavgen series, and the character was presented in different dramatic layers than any character in the film, and this is understandable because of its impact on the events of the film, and the positive factor for me Is that the movie is closed, and the movie was not just a bridge to transfer events to another movie or an upcoming series, but rather the events from the beginning to the end of one book only, and this is a great advantage for the movie, unlike Marvel’s past works, which seemed to me to be works that were made to present other works.
One of the most important features of the film is the dialogue and directing. The script of the film always progressed to the front and revealed a lot about the main characters without placing them in an angelic framework, but rather placing them in the framework of events, the end justifies the means, unlike Marvel’s previous works, which I also saw in the Moon Night series, which put Moon Knight in A framework of events forcing him to carry out an act that he did not want. As for the directing feature, its most prominent elements were bold among the comedy in a few times, terrifying at times and dramatic in most of them, and certainly the commercial elements, which I wished to keep away from the film because it has no value, and whose goal is to spread on Social Media.
Essential question?
As for the main question, does Doctor Strange, the second part, offer crazy multiverse worlds, and the answer from his point of view is no, and for many reasons the worlds that were targeted were three or two, so the idea of madness did not exist from my point of view, and the strange thing is that the movie “Spider man no way home” presented an idea The multiverse is crazy more than Dr. Strange, and it is possible to consider the series Loki, the movie Spiderman, and the movie Dr. Strange a multiverse trilogy, and certainly the disparity between the works exists, and the idea of madness from my point of view is to focus on the decisions of the characters more than the visual effects or the shape of the crazy characters.
As for the acting performance, it was at best, with a rank comparable to a movie like Endgame and No Way Home, and certainly the best in the movie, Elizabeth Olsen. As for the music from Danny, the artist was not successful, I felt that it had no identity, and also the visual photography was not at its best, even the visual effects in Sometimes it's bad.
Conclusion
Doctor strange in the multiverse of madness presented a refreshing new experience of the Marvel universe and the advantage is that it is one book and without the usual Marvel spices, but a little Marvel spice is present, with a directing experience from the usual Sam Raimi, the film also introduces the characters in a new framework on the Marvel universe.
