Car Jackers

Hi movie lovers,

In my quest to become one of the people who likes watching movies I came across a really nice movie on net naija last week. I know a few people will wonder why I get my movies from net naija considering they have low quality videos. Before I started using net naija for movies I used to have a joined Netflix account with my cousins but we weren’t watching it so it was basically a waste of our time and money subscribing to it monthly.

Even with the netnaija I hardly download movies from there unless those that come as recommendations from TikTok.

So last week, I decided to look at net naija and see if I’ll get a nice current movie to watch. I came across carjackers which is a 2025 movie. One thing that I was looking for was an action movie and from the flyer or cover photo I did realize it’ll be an action movie. With its title I realized it’ll be about stealing so why not.

Carjackers is a movie made in Europe. I think it was made in Paris as the characters speak French. I would have said it was made in Paris because of the French but you never know.

Carjackers is a movie about 4 friends who work for a hotel but take time off their busy schedule at work to steal from rich clients. The irony of the story is that it takes so little of a time to happen that even the hotel managers don’t believe it can be their staff who are involved in this theft.

Carjackers can be likened to Fast and furious but just that they don’t run sophisticated robberies. In this movie, the one who knows how to take control of a vehicle is a woman. We can liken her to the driver in baby.

Carjackers as I said was released in 2025 on march. It was written by Morade aissauoi, sledge bidounga and Bosh. It was directed by Kamel Guemera.

Just like robinhood these carjackers rob from the rich but bad people but in this case they don’t give it to the poor but rather keep it for themselves. Things take a turn of event when the hotel manager employs a special assassin to look for these carjackers who mostly target the hotel clients.

These assasin is tasked with only arresting these thieves but when these thieves steal diamonds from an evil man these man requests that they be killed. This is where the real drama starts.

In carjackers, I don’t see a lot of unnecessary scenes that I didn’t like. As you know it movie producers and writers intentionally add unnecessary scenes to make the movie longer and it annoys a lot of people.

I’d rate this an 8/10 as I think it’s a movie worth watching and appreciating. For me this is one of the action action movies I have watched after fast and furious. the thing about a movie like this is that even though you know how it mostly ends, you mostly cannot predict what happens in between and this movie has that.
