Dune: Parte Uno - Reseña [ESP/ENG]

¡Buenas Comunidad de Hive blog! En esta ocasión me gustaría compartir mi opinión cobre la película Dune, no es la primera vez que hablo sobre películas ya que es un tema muy pero muy interesante para mí. Más que un hobbie lo consideraría una pasión, no lo considero un carrera porque no la pude estudiar, porque si no muy probablemente la estuviera cursando en vez de estudiar mi actual carrera pero tampoco me desligo completamente de ella.

Debido al poco tiempo “libre” que ocupo actualmente, tuve la oportunidad de ver Dune, no la pude disfrutar al cien porque mis auriculares se dañaron y por el gran factor “Tiempo” tuve que verla en dos partes, pero aun así no representa gran impedimento para poder apreciar una película y reconocer cuando es buena o no.

Hello Hive Blog Community! This time I would like to share my opinion about the movie Dune, it is not the first time I talk about movies because it is a very, very interesting topic for me. More than a hobby I would consider it a passion, I don't consider it a career because I couldn't study it, otherwise I would probably be studying it instead of my current career but I don't completely detach myself from it either.

Due to the little "free" time I currently have, I had the opportunity to watch Dune, I could not enjoy it to the fullest because my headphones were damaged and because of the big factor "Time" I had to watch it in two parts, but even so it does not represent a great impediment to appreciate a movie and recognize when it is good or not.

Dune, como escuche en algún lado, Star Wars para adultos, va sobre un conflicto político que desencadenará eventualmente en una guerra, así definiría la trama de la película con pocas palabras ya que usar una sinopsis de google me es poco convincente y debido al basto y complejo universo de Dune, me es poco fácil tratar de explicar la trama. Principalmente nos centraremos en Paul Atreides, el protagonista de esta historia y quién será el supuesto salvador de todo este conflicto.

Digamos que Dune no nos presenta una trama de otro planeta, un imperio que se divide por casas, algo tipo a lo Juego de Tronos para que tengan una idea más clara, dicho imperio conspira en contra de la casa del protagonista para que se peleen unas casas con otras y así hasta que se arma el conflicto principal de la historia. Aunque no sea nada del otro mundo, y más si ya están acostumbrados a ver este tipo de historias, digamos que lo radical y asombroso de Dune recae casi que por completo en conocer más a fondo este complejo mundo que creó Frank Herbert.

Dune, as I heard somewhere, Star Wars for adults, is about a political conflict that will eventually trigger a war, so I would define the plot of the film in a few words because using a google synopsis is not very convincing and due to the vast and complex universe of Dune, it is not easy for me to try to explain the plot. Mainly we will focus on Paul Atreides, the protagonist of this story and who will be the supposed savior of all this conflict.

Let's say that Dune does not present us with a plot from another planet, an empire that is divided by houses, something like Game of Thrones to give you a clearer idea, this empire conspires against the protagonist's house so that some houses fight with others and so on until the main conflict of the story is armed. Although it is not a big deal, and more if you are already used to see this kind of stories, let's say that the radical and amazing thing about Dune lies almost entirely in knowing more about this complex world created by Frank Herbert.

El ritmo de la película sí tengo que reconocer es un poco lento, esto debido a que funciona como la introducción a todo este mundo, se va mucho por presentar cada personaje, darle cierto protagonismo, explicar el por qué de las cosas, los estilos de combate, las casas, el mundo de Arrakis que es donde se centra la historia, presentan a los Fremeen y al final es que se siente que la película avanza pero justo en ese punto termina; esto me causa una especie de división, una clase de amor-odio, puesto que toda la película se toma su tiempo para sentar sus bases y al final cuando se vuelve completamente interesante, termina, y ahí es cuando agradezco haberla visto días antes del estreno de su segunda parte la cual, según las críticas, supera a esta primera parte.

Visualmenete, Dune, es espectacular, la forma en que está diseñada toda su arquitectura en cada planeta, sobre todo en el planeta de los Atreides, como con un toque futurista pero sin tanta tecnología, el desierto de Arrakis aunque parezca algo simple tiene su toque, el diseño de las naves, todo es interesante. Como ya les mencioné anteriormente no pude apreciar mucho el soundtrack de la película por mi audífonos pero me anime usar otros que tenía, igual están un poco defectuoso, y puedo decir que es emergente en los momento cruciales pero no me animo a dar una opinión más a fondo; tendría que verla por segunda vez y no soy muy partidario de eso.

The pace of the movie I have to admit is a little slow, this is because it works as the introduction to this world, it goes a lot to introduce each character, give them some prominence, explain the why of things, the combat styles, the houses, the world of Arrakis which is where the story is centered, they introduce the Fremeen and at the end it feels like the movie is moving forward but just at that point it ends; this causes me a kind of division, a kind of love-hate, since the whole film takes its time to lay its foundations and at the end when it becomes completely interesting, it ends, and that's when I'm grateful to have seen it days before the release of its second part which, according to the reviews, surpasses this first part.

Visually, Dune is spectacular, the way the architecture is designed on each planet, especially on the planet of the Atreides, with a futuristic touch but without so much technology, the desert of Arrakis, although it seems simple, has its touch, the design of the ships, everything is interesting. As I mentioned before I couldn't appreciate much the soundtrack of the movie because of my headphones but I was encouraged to use others I had, they are still a little defective, and I can say that it is emergent in the crucial moments but I don't dare to give a more in-depth opinion; I would have to see it a second time and I'm not very fond of that.

En resumidas cuentas, Dune vale la pena verla, es un mundo bastante complejo y muy interesante, cada vez que sueltan información sobre el mismo en la película vas a querer más, sus efectos son bastante buenos, la parte visual es otra maravilla y parte sonora me, aunque pude apreciar poca, puedo decir que lo poco que escuché me gustó. La película es lenta, se toma su tiempo y cuando se vuelve súper interesante termina, diría que esto fue lo que no me agrado mucho de la película pero en mi opinión todo lo anterior lo compensa y más teniendo que en cuenta que esta primera parte funciona más como una introducción a todo este universo.

Mi recomendación:
Denle una oportunidad, vale la pena, se los dice una persona a la que no le gusta para nada todas estas tramas espaciales y cosas de este estilo, así aprovechan y ven la segunda parte con un poco más de expectativa. Sin más que decir, nos vemos en una siguiente reseña…

In short, Dune is worth seeing, it is a very complex and interesting world, every time they release information about it in the movie you will want more, the effects are pretty good, the visual part is another wonder and the sound part, although I could appreciate little, I can say that the little I heard I liked it. The film is slow, it takes its time and when it becomes super interesting it ends, I would say that this was what I did not like much of the film but in my opinion all of the above compensates it and more taking into account that this first part works more as an introduction to this whole universe.

My recommendation:
Give it a chance, it's worth it, I'm a person who doesn't like all these space plots and things of this style, so take advantage and see the second part with a little more expectation. Without more to say, see you in the next review...
