Cine TV Contest #131 - Favorite Movie From Your Childhood

Home alone is a very interesting movie and trust me it can be off my list as one of the top most hilarious movies of all time. Home Alone is about 4 series, and I actually saw the 4 series. I really loved the hilarious scenes even as a young boy, I could relate with the jokes and the creative kid always finding a way t deal with the robbers.

As a brief summary, Home Alone is a movie about a kid that was mistakenly left at home, the mother thought they moved together but later discovered she had left her kid at home. The kid on the other hand was the saviour, because thieves actually planned raiding his home not knowing he was in the house.

Macaulay Culkin, the young boy, really dealt with the thieves in several hilarious ways. At first he made them believe there was someone in the house and that made the thieve flee and at other times he played siren sounds which scared the thieves making them think the police is approaching the building. There was another scene where the kid played a movie that seemed to be addressing the thieves and at some points the gun shots that came from the movie the boy played sounded like it was real as the boy enhanced the sound with fire crackers.

I believe a lot of kids could relate with the movie because being home alone can be scary. But after watching that movie I can remember gaining some confidence as a kid. I actually stayed home alone at some point but I didn’t experience anything close to what the movie Home Alone featured in its scenes.

The kid was the main actor and I think he killed the role, however, his efforts won’t have been soon distinct if the thieves didn’t do a good job with their facial expressions, reactions and body gestures.

I think the movie is great for kids because it can boost their confidence. However, I believe kids should watch the movie under strict adult supervision so they won’t be pushed to try things that can be out of control. I won’t rate the kid as an adult but based on how it made me feel back then, I’ll give it an 8 out of 10.

I just can't say how much I love this movie. The smartness of the 12 year old was just something else. This was really one of my best movies as a kid.
