Learning to ski with The Sylphs (using pinmapple to log location)

On this second day of our holiday in the Pyrenees Mountains we were blessed to observe the most wonderful Sylphs in the sky dancing for us like Angels while Luna & Esteban picked up the basics of skiing.

This is the film version of the post i wrote ten days ago in which you will see three distinct Sylph formations and also my excitement at having been blessed by their presence.

Am logging this location on pinmapple as "Great skiing location for beginners".

This is the first time i have used pinmapple so am a bit unsure how it works?

Do i just leave the code here like this?

This is so much fun to watch, their joy is infectious! The first time I took my kids skiing, one of them broke their arm! Not quite so much fun...

I did it!

I've been looking for sylphs everywhere, but so far, no sightings. I'll have to content myself with yours.

I did write a poem about them

Sounds rather like my own story there. It wasn't the first time skiing but i broke my leg at the age of six, trying to do a large jump which was beyond my capabilities. While i am sure this bothered my parents at the time i rather liked having a broken leg with a big white cast on it for everyone to draw pictures on ;)

It is great you are on the ball getting your children started early. People don't realise it yet but skiing will be very important in the future as the easiest way to get around.

Sorry to hear the Sylphs are eluding you still. They will likely arrive when you least expect it...

skiing there looks very fun, I have never tried it, if I have the chance I would also like to ski

Highly recommend giving it a go. It isn't as expensive as people imagine if you know where to look. The skis and boots were just €16 per day and the slopes were free!

Also, as i mentioned above, global warming is a lie designed to divert us from the fact that we are still in an ice age, currently in an interglacial period (a warm bit) which is coming to an end, giving way to much colder conditions on Earth. So skiing is in my opinion an important skill to learn for those of us who don't live in the tropics.
