The story follows Dan Lawson a detective from Chicago who is needed in Scotland. He was contacted by the Scottish detective Glen Boyd in reference to a case he worked on five years ago but that still unsolved, now in Scotland exist a serial killer that has the same patterns of the killer Dawson was chasing in Chicago back in the days. The detective Dawson traveled to Scotland to work with detective Boyd and start the investigation that will lead them to different clues and even a cult that could be involve in all this case. Lawson also contacted detective Bravo and show him the file of the case that he is working on, about the serial killer the is disturbing the peace of the people in Scotland but detective Bravo at the beginning told him that he doesn’t want to work on the case but at the end he accepted. The three detectives join forces and intelligence to try to solve the case but is not going to be easy they are going to start feeling that they are the one that are being hunting and in addition the demons of detective Lawson of his previous unsolved case starting chasing him, forcing work stronger against the clock to capture the killer.

Damaged is a crime, drama, action and mystery thriller that will force the audience to think as an detective to solve the case before the detective can give the answer of who is the killer. A movie directed by Terry McDonough a genius in the television filming industry and with Samuel L. Jackson leading the cast, an actor with an amazing filmography. The movie will premiered on April 12th on theaters.

Director Terry McDonough: A Master of Intrigue

Terry McDonough is a British television director. Since 1995 he has been directing episodes in different British TV Series such as Peak Practice, Eleventh Hour, Where the Heart is, They Royal and Vincent. In 2008 he began directing episodes in American television series such as the acclaimed Breaking Bad, The Gates, No Ordinary Family, Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior and Clue. In 2013 he was the director of the BBC docudrama An Adventure in Space and Time, which represent the creation of the famous British TV series Doctor Who. Now with Damaged McDonough is enter to the big screen, a movie with a great cast and with plot that has action, suspense and intrigue.

The cast of Damaged is lead by the incomparable Samuel L. Jackson portraying Detective Dan Lawson, Jackson is an American and film producer, is an actor that has participated in over 150 films to date and received the Academy Honorary Award as “a cultural icon whose dynamic work has resonated across genres and generations and audiences worldwide”, just for mention some of his roles, Jedi Mace Windu in the Star Wars prequel trilogy and as Nick Fury in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films. Vincent Cassel plays Bravo. Cassel in a French actor who gained attention for the role of Gasper Noe in the french film Irreversible 2002 but his international recognition came with the roles in Ocean’s Twelve 2004 and Ocean’s Thirteen 2007, later he appeared in the movie Black Swan 2010 and in Jason Bourne 2016. Gianni Capaldi take the role of Detective Glen Boyd, Capaldi is a Scottish actor of both film and television, that has roles in different genres since drama to horror with productions such as Blood of Redemption, Punture Wounds and Nightworld. Capaldi first major role was in the film Cross as the gangster English.

A Glimpse into the Plot

The movie tell the story of a serial killer that has Scotland citizens scared for the brutally of the murders, due to all the case contains similarities with an investigation that had the same patterns occurred five years ago in Chicago, the detective Dan Lawson is called to help in this new investigation. Lawson traveled to Scotland to try to solved the case and finally discover who the killer is, but through that journey, the detective is going to face some demons from the past of a previous case that still hunting him to this day. Damaged will give the audience a full scenario of danger, uncertainty and action in a race against the clock to uncover the truth and end of the killer.
