Not me
Today it's about what's on TV and what people actually want to watch. I watch a reality show that is all about physical games, endurance, strength and skill, among other things. But instead of the show focusing on those exact skills and presenting exactly that, it presents some intrigue between the players. Now I wonder if the show was really just the physical part - some strong people, athletes, competing, today they get up, go to compete, come back, whoever wins, wins. Would people watch it then? I definitely would, because that's what I'm interested in - some strong people, put on equal terms, to see their true skills. But instead we see half strong and half weak players, the weak survive by underhand games and intrigue. Such is life. And that's what people apparently like to watch. But not me.

Soul's Detour is a project started by me years ago when I had a blog about historical and not so popular tourist destinations in Eastern Belgium, West Germany and Luxembourg. Nowadays, this blog no longer exists, but I'm still here - passionate about architecture, art and mysteries and eager to share my discoveries and point of view with you. |
