Reel Resonance - My Perfect Movie

Movies has alwsys been a great source of entertainment. It holds an important place in everyone life. From older generation to the current generation. Everyone have watched movie. There was a time in 70's and 80's when many meaningful movies were made to entertain people. They alwsys leave a long lasting image and lessons in the audience mind. But as the lifestyle move towards glamour, the movie storyline also started to take some turn. 90's onward the movies industry have seen a shift in audience taste. Nowadays, we hardly comes across any mindful movie. The movie industry is now more of a money making business rather than source of entertainment.

One of the few movies that really made me rewatch "n" number of times is 3-idiots. I never feel bored even watching today. I do find this movie very Motivational, Interesting and Crazy at the same.

Why I like the Movie

Every individual have their own taste and liking. The reason for liking this movie is my personal choice. I belive whosoever liked this movie can agree that a movie like 3 idiots has never been made, and can never be made again. It is an extremely real story, and perfectly balanced. Somewhere we can easily relate our life in some of scene. It got comedy, it got tears. It got life lessons, it got romance. It got everything that a family movie should have.

I don’t think there is a single scene in the 3 hours long movie which does not have some significance. It keep me hooked to the seat, laughing, gasping for breath and sometime makes me emotional. The movie strong script was supported by excellent star cast, for which we must thank the director, Rajkumar Hirani. The story telling process is such an interesting one which connects both the present and the future together.

Movie Takeaway

Once you start watching this movie, you started to relate somewhere. Not with crazy stuffs but with different aspect of life.

These lines from the movie song can give you a glimpses, of how perfectly the movie has been crafted. This lines simply signify that *

if we just keep patience, and not lose hope, then the tough days will come to an end for sure*.

To cut the long story short, the movie teaches a very basic theory of life that expectation reduces joy. We all have different liking and passion in life. But by the time we realized our passion our life were already moved in differrnt direction because of others influence.

I think after watching this movie, many parents have understood that rather than forcing their choices on their kids life, let them grow of their own. Rather than setting high expectation of your dream from them, let them nurture their dream and let them loose to follow their passion. This is very much influenced me and my decision about my kids too.

Arre tu darta bahut hai yaar. Ye haath le, apne dil pe daal, aur bol – aal izz well, aal izz well.

You scare easily, bro. Take your hand, put it over your heart, and say. “aal izz well”.

This is one of the craziest of the line from the movie. Though it does not have any specific things to do. But it did not took long to be a trending on social media.

The movie taught that, by doing so, does not solve the problem or correct the situaion one is in. But it does give people the courage to face it.

Isn't crazy?? 😇😇

I often practice this in my life, whenever I’m worried, or panic, or feel nervous. I just keep my hand at my heart, and tell myself that everything is going to be alright, All is Well. Trust me it works.

One of the major aspect which the movie explores several times was Suicide. To some extent, suicide is the central driving plot of the film. It tells the alarming rise in suicide cases among the students due to the education system, our society, family expectation and peer pressure. We can easily avoid such painful situation by making our kids to follow their dream or passion than bearing unwanted pressure.

To wrap things up my favorite quote in the movie is

Follow excellence and success will come your way.
It shows how being educated goes far from just having good grades in Exams. Somewhere it is the the fault in education system which always looks out for marks / score rather than the knowledge a student acquired. Having a sound knowledge on any subject one should be able to apply it in real life to solve problem and not create new ones.
The movie further illustrate this with the help of Rancho (movie main character) who never used his college degree to became a very well known Scientist.

Ahhh....seems I am going too strayed away with my writing. This is not a movie review but something that everyone feel close to in their life. Do watch it! To talk about your own experience.
