Christmas Movies To Watch

A few days ago, I made a post about how much I love watching animated Christmas movies this time of year. However, aside from the animation genre, I also enjoy watching traditional Christmas movies. I'd like to share some of my favorites with you so that you can also enjoy them this holiday season. Of course, I'd love for you to suggest Christmas movies you enjoy so that I can add them to my watchlist too.

Home Alone (1990) & Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (1992)
Ah, the timeless adventures of Kevin McCallister as he outsmarts burglars in the first installment and takes on the Big Apple in the sequel. These films are a perfect blend of comedy, heart, and the true meaning of Christmas.

Jingle All The Way (1996)
"It's Turbo Time!" Who could forget the hilarious escapades of Arnold Schwarzenegger as he embarks on a last-minute quest for the elusive Turbo-Man action figure? This one always brings a hearty dose of laughter and a reminder of the importance of family.

Scrooged (1988)
A modern twist on Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol," with Bill Murray as a cynical TV executive. This film is both comedic and heartwarming, serving up a festive lesson about the true meaning of Christmas and redemption.

Jack Frost (1998)
Get ready for a heartwarming tale of love, family, and second chances. This film tells the story of a musician who gets a second shot at being a good dad after a magical twist of fate.

Trading Places (1983)
This classic comedy takes a hilarious look at the holiday season from a different perspective. With Eddie Murphy and Dan Aykroyd at the helm, it's a perfect blend of satire and Christmas cheer.

Elf (2003)
Will Ferrell as Buddy the Elf brings an infectious joy to the screen in this modern Christmas classic. From his journey from the North Pole to New York City, this film is an absolute delight.

Home Alone and Elf are my favorites, two classics that I can't miss at Christmas. To see them is to feel that Christmas has really arrived.
Thanks for the other recommendations, I'm sure I've seen some of them, but, I don't remember.

All great movies. We started our Christmas movie marathon at our household and already watched one of the named movies in your post (Scrooged). All the rest will be watched over the holidays. Last night we watched Christmas Chronicles (2018).
