Superman, the iconic Man of Steel there is one for every age now but who is the GOAT superman

  1. George Reeves

    source
George Reeves was the first actor to play Superman in a television series. Starring in Adventures of Superman from 1952 to 1958, Reeves appeared in six seasons of the show. His portrayal set the stage for future adaptations, embodying the moral fortitude and charisma that Superman is known for.
    Haven't watched this

  2. Christopher Reeve

    source
When people think of Superman, Christopher Reeve often comes to mind. Reeve played the Man of Steel in four movies: Superman: The Movie (1978), Superman II (1980), Superman III (1983), and Superman IV: The Quest for Peace (1987). His performance was a perfect blend of strength, kindness, and a touch of vulnerability.
When I hear superman his face pop in my mind immediately.

  3. Dean Cain

    source

  4. Dean Cain brought Superman to the small screen in the 1990s with Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. The show ran for four seasons from 1993 to 1997. Cain’s version of Superman was more relatable, focusing on his dual life as Clark Kent and his romantic relationship with Lois Lane. Cain’s charm and approachability made his Superman a fan favorite, particularly for a generation growing up in the 90s.
Loved that show and some times when I find re-runs I watch them.

  5. Tom Welling

    source
Smallville introduced us to a young Clark Kent, with Tom Welling playing the lead role. Spanning ten seasons from 2001 to 2011, the series focused on Clark's journey from high school to becoming Superman. Welling's portrayal was unique in that it delved deep into Clark’s formative years, exploring his struggles, relationships, and gradual acceptance of his destiny. Welling’s performance resonated with younger audiences, making Superman’s story more accessible and grounded.
He is Clark Kent not superman

  6. Brandon Routh

    source
In 2006, Brandon Routh starred in Superman Returns, a film that paid homage to the original Christopher Reeve movies. Routh’s performance was lauded for its reverence to Reeve’s portrayal, capturing the same earnestness and heroism. Despite mixed reviews for the film itself, Routh’s Superman was a respectful nod to the past while attempting to usher the character into a new era.
    indifferent

  7. Henry Cavill

    source
Henry Cavill's Superman debuted in Man of Steel (2013) and continued through Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) and Justice League (2017). Cavill brought a more modern, brooding edge to Superman, reflecting the complexities of contemporary society. His portrayal emphasized the weight of being a hero in a world filled with skepticism and conflict. Cavill’s Superman is powerful, conflicted, and deeply human, resonating with a new generation of fans.
    He is the real Superman

  8. Tyler Hoechlin

    source

Tyler Hoechlin stepped into the Superman role in the Arrowverse TV shows, particularly in Supergirl and Superman & Lois. Since 2016, Hoechlin has portrayed a seasoned Superman, balancing his superhero duties with family life.
It feels like a remake of Dean Cain Superman but they won't achieve this.

So my favorite Superman , My goat is Henry Cavill.

There can only be one Superman for me: George Reeves. Maybe he wasn't the best. Maybe his portrayal was simplistic. He appealed to children, almost exclusively, I think. I was a child when I watched him on television. For me, he is Superman😇.
