What games have I tried that are also movies? That we love!

Introduction

OK this is for the Cine/OneUp cometition. A movie and video game that we love! SO ours is Resident Evil. This is a game and movie frachise that we have watched an dplayed since the beggining. I am not going to say why we love the film quite so much....but will be leaving some pictures in the post. We also love the Fifth Element.....might give you some clues!

Resident Evil the Film

Now I have not wacthed this in a while so I had to look up the details on IMDB - https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120804/ this i ssomething I do often with films. I was surprised that it was made by Paul Anderson, which I had forgotton. It also has one of my favourite actresses in it...Milla Jovovich......

I mean what is not to love about this film, pure action and thrills all the way home. I remember it giving me the heeby jeebies when I first watched it. Would give it 8 out of 10 .....IMDB is a bit mean to give it a 6.7/10

Resident Evil the game

I had to google the game and you can find its wiki link here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Resident_Evil. Made in 1996 by capcom who are still around today. This game was freaky, I remember playing it on playstation and being freaked out by it with my friends! It was suspensful to the extreme...I guess back then we did not see the blocky pixels that are so obvious now, back then it was real! I can't really rate the game as it has been a long time since I have played it, all I would say in our memory it is a classic!

Conclusion

Resident Evil for me what one of the first games I had played that scared me! For some reason I was ok with Sonic the Hedgehog and Mario....but Resident Evil really freaked me out. Those kind of memories can never be forgotton and writing this now takes me back to the first time I played and watched resident evil. I guess a testement to its absoloute success is the franchise that has contined over 25 years later, with new games and films being made and now even maybe a Netflix series....

We would like to leave you with this one thought to end this entery to the competition....

I can honestly I finished the first Resident Evil on the Playstation in the dark, I did not play that game untill it was after 8 PM. I wanted to get my scared shitless. Who did not freak out when the first Zombie broke th window in the police station hall way.

Resident Evil reminds me of my childhood. I remembered how much I enjoyed playing Resident Evil's video games with my brother on our Playstation. I only saw the film series later in my life, during my adolescence.

@stickupboys, the movie is wonderful, and it's full of action too

I haven't come across the game on playstore. Is it possible I get it on Android Playstore? Or is there a special website where I can download the game from?

I think Milla Jovovich has been playing Alice for half her life now. Loved those video games too, I think I made it to the last part in the first game and ran out of ammo! The knife, stab all those zombies to death but I don't think I ever finished it.

I loved part 4 and especially 5 when playing in co-op with a friend. I need to play the newer entries, I hear they're much better. You can throw part 6 into the rubbish bin, awful from what I remember.
