Joy, the Name of Success Summary and Teachings

If you have an idea, don't wait too long to materialize it and put it into practice. I dare say that one of the reasons that determine a person's success is how quickly they are to build what they imagine in their mind.

Joy, the Name of Success; a biographical romantic comedy film that tells the story of one of the most successful entrepreneurs and inventors in the United States, Joy Mangano, portrayed by the wonderful performance of Jennifer Lawrence. The movie also features actors such as Robert De Niro and Bradley Cooper.

The film is told from the perspective of Joy's grandmother, who always believed in her granddaughter's talent, even when it seemed like she would never continue with the creation of her inventions. It is definitely one of the most inspiring success stories I have seen. If you ever feel lost in your life, need to rediscover yourself, and listen to what your inner voice says, I suggest you watch and observe this film; because by watching, you learn, nourish yourself with all the positivity it can offer, and discard the negative ideas that can hold you back.

If you are or aspire to build a path as an entrepreneur, here are the teachings that this film provided me, with the aim that you take them as your own and put them into practice in your daily life:

• Do not easily give in to what others tell you to do, push back, assert yourself, and break the rules.

• NEVER settle for a NO.

• Your dreams DO come true, in other words, YOU make them come true. Work for them.

• Even when everything seems to have ended, there is always a way or path that will provide you with a solution and a fresh start.

• Surround yourself with people who support and encourage you, who help and contribute to you selflessly. You can never forget them, they go with you until the end.

• Mind your gestures, everything is in hands and voice.

• When you hide, you feel secure because no one sees you, but the curious thing is that you hide from yourself.

• Do whatever is necessary, exhaust all possibilities, knock on all doors, DO NOT GIVE UP even when you collapse, cry, and the thought of giving up crosses your mind.

• Do not sell just to sell; Focus on selling something that actually helps others solve something.

• Believe in yourself and what you sell.

• Be yourself always, in every situation you find yourself in. Be natural.

• Think, conceive, create, sell, maintain it, and enjoy it.

• You have the power to change your current life and that of your family; you just have to take the first step and keep doing it for a long time.

• In the process, there will be extremely challenging situations, but you must stay strong and grow. Be a lioness/lion.

• Research, read, have mastery and knowledge of every detail of your business and at the same time of what you sign. Every detail, no matter how small, matters.

• All races can come together to create something greater.

Si tienes una idea no esperes mucho tiempo para materializarla y ponerla en práctica, me atrevo a decir que, una de las razones que determinan el éxito de una persona es cuan rápido sea para construir o que en su mente imagina.

Joy, el nombre de éxito; es una pelicula biográfica de comedia romántica que cuenta la historia de una de las emprendedoras e inventora más exitosas de los Estados Unidos Joy Mangano interpretada por la actuación maravillosa de Jennifer Lawrence. Además participan actores como Robert De Niro y Bradley Cooper.

La pelicula es contada desde la visión de la abuela de Joy quien siempre creyó en el talento de su nieta, aun y cuando parecía que nunca continuaría con la creación de sus inventos. Definitivamente es una de las historias de éxito más inspiradoras que he visto. Si te sientes perdido en algún momento de tu vida, necesitas reencontrarte a ti mismo y escuchar lo que dice tu voz interior, te sugiero veas y observes esta película; si porque al observar aprendes, te nutres de todo lo positivo que puede aportarte y desechas las ideas negativas que pueden restarte.


Si eres o deseas construir un camino como emprendedor acá te dejo las enseñanzas que esta película me aportó, con el objetivo de que las tomes como tuyas y las pongas en práctica en tu día a día.

• No cedas a lo que otros te dicen que debes hacer tan fácilmente, presiona, imponte y rompe las reglas.

• NUNCA te conformes con un NO.

• Tus sueños SÍ se cumplen, o sea, TÚ los cumples y los haces realidad. Trabaja por ellos.

• Aun y cuando todo parece que se acabó existe alguna vía o camino que te dará una solución y un nuevo comienzo.

• Rodéate de personas que te apoyen y te alienten, que te ayuden y te aporten desinteresadamente. A esas no las puedes olvidar jamás, esas van contigo hasta el final.

• Cuida tus gestos, todo está en las manos y la voz.

• Cuando te ocultas estas segura porque nadie te ve, pero lo curioso es que te ocultas de misma/o.

• Has todo lo que sea necesario, agota todas las posibilidades, toca todas las puertas, NO TE CANSES aunque te derrumbes, llores y que por tu mente pase el darte por ventida/o.

• NO vendas por vender, Enfócate en vender algo que realmente a ayude a los demás a resolver algo.

• Cree en tí y en lo que vendes.

• Sé tu misma/o siempre, en cada situación en la que te encuentes. Sé natural.

• Piensa, idea, crea, vende, mantenlo y disfrútalo.

• Tu tienes el poder para cambiar tu vida actual y la de tu familia, solo debes dar el primer paso y mantenerte haciéndolo por mucho tiempo.

• En el proceso vendrán situaciones demasiado difíciles pero debes mantenerte fuerte y crecerte. Ser una leona/león.

• Investiga, lee, ten dominio y conocimiento de cada detalle de tu negocio y a la vez de lo que firmas. Todo detalle por mínimo que sea, importa.

• Todas las razas pueden unirse para crear algo más grande.
