Hello all art lovers! Once again I come to collaborate in the community with some photographs corresponding to the exhibition of cinematographic posters by Alejandro Calzadilla, which is located in the Museum of Fine Arts (Caracas- Venezuela).

In this interesting exhibition, we can see 81 posters, made by Alejandro and his team, over more than thirty years of experience. I haven't seen any of those films, but that didn't stop me from being captivated by the exhibition.

I think that a movie poster has power, because through an image, it tries to generate an impact strong enough so that whoever looks at it feels the desire to see the film it represents, driven by the observer's own curiosity. .

I like going to the movies and I confess that I like to get carried away by the advertisements when I have to choose a movie that I haven't heard of. Seeing both posters together was a pleasant experience. Well, it was like seeing a huge album of colorful stamps.

¡Hola a todos los amantes del arte! Una vez más vengo a colaborar en la comunidad con unas fotografías correspondientes a la exposición de carteles cinematográficos de Alejandro Calzadilla, la cual se encuentra ubicada en el Museo de Bellas Artes (Caracas- Venezuela).

En ésta interesante exposición, podemos ver 81 afiches, realizados por Alejandro y su equipo, a lo largo de más de treinta años de trayectoria. No he visto ninguna de esas películas, pero eso no evitó que quedase prendada con la exposición.

Opino que el afiche de una película tiene poder, pues a través de una imagen, se trata de generar un impacto lo suficientemente fuerte como para que quién lo mire, sienta el deseo de ver el filme que represente, llevado por la curiosidad propia del observador.

Me gusta ir al cine y confieso que me gusta dejarme llevar por los anuncios cuando tengo que escoger una película de la cual no he oído hablar. Ver tanto carteles juntos, fue una grata experiencia. Pues era como ver un álbum enorme de estampillas coloridas.
