Hello ladies and beauties of ladies of hive. How are you all doing and hope we all enjoyed the Easter 🐣 holidays 🥰💕

It has really been a while but am always breezing in and out , saying hello and hi! And am so happy to be joining in this week’s prompt contest, and thanks to our dear @merit.ahama for the interesting topics brought to us this week.

The two topics movies 🎥 and books 📚 are mostly the two things that makes life interesting, especially for those who knows their value as regards to lifestyle and how important it is for us to always entertain ourselves as part of that leisure living.

I have always been entertained by movies and books while growing up because then I went to the extent of reading many novels by well known authors ✍️online, so when I have no movie to watch, I will take up a soft copy book through my phone to keep myself entertained. But the days of reading books are over as my work schedule changed everything. Working through the week does not give me that opportunity to stay on a book and finish it quickly because that is the only idea to enjoying a book. By this I mean constant reading 📖 into chapter by chapter brings on the love to enjoy reading as entertainment.

And with this question, I will say am a movie person over book reading now because of how I took so much interest in making sure to relax with a movie 🎥 every evening before bed time on work days even if its just for few hours. I stopped reading books due to how I find it difficult to follow up a story line after not reading for few days maybe due to time factor or tiredness. But with watching movies its not the same.

I see myself always looking up to finishing a movie I started quickly because of how interesting or entertaining it is, and will want to download to start watching something new. This is not the same with book reading, although sometimes I might struggle to read a book because of the author but reading does not bring me that urge I get from wanting to watch a movie 🎥

Honestly speaking , watching movies are one important ways to get ourselves relaxed 😎 but at the same time another way to get insight on what happens around the world 🌎 and in the lives of individuals because most movies although might not be real but are educating, creating awareness since movies are characterized by actions and not like books we don’t feel actions from.

Books we know can inspire or motivate us especially if they are well scripted, but movies are full of expectations, thrilling , suspense and mostly that action of seeing what is going on is like a football 🏈 match on the field between two opponents. This is what make movies entertaining and way not to be compared to reading
books.

I have been hooked to watching SWATS, a crime series that is full of well laid down systematic investigation process that I love ❤️. Then series from Denzel Washington on FBI crime scene that’s so captivating to the end. And lately some Korean love ❤️ stories from “My Happy Ending”. A story of When love causes havoc. All these series brings different kinds of entertainment and teaching, showing us how human behave in circumstances and helping us to see the world in a glance with what they portray even though some are not true live stories.

Movies develop our mental capacity, especially if we come in contact with some story lines that reflects on what we have seen or heard. I have learnt a lot from watching movies and have also come to know many parts of the world 🌍 through just watching movies because of the interest it has impacted in me. There is nothing we can not learn from watching movies apart from the fun of it or the entertainment side including other countries food 🥘, tradition, culture and language. Watching Korean movies has made me learn some of there simple languages.

Movies are everything although books can come by once in a while, and it all also depends on what an individual cherish in the two. Most importantly, what value we are getting from either watching movies 🎥 or reading books 📚.
