Watching stories on Instagram I came across a video of a friend, a video she made where she showed a montage of how she made coffee. It was a quiet and super short video, but well done, so I couldn't help but think of one of my favorite scenes in modern anime, Aki doing her morning routine in chainsawman. A scene that gives so much peace and tranquility that you even forget what the anime is about, and, also, it's genius not only because of the direction, editing and animation, but also because it's the perfect arrival for Power and how the whole routine changes for the characters.

Viendo historias en Instagram me tome con un vídeo de una amiga, un vídeo que hizo ella dónde mostraba un montaje de cómo hacía café. Era un vídeo tranquilo y súper corto, pero bien hecho, por lo que no pude evitar pensar en una de mis escenas favoritas del anime moderno, Aki haciendo su rutina matutina en chainsawman. Una escena que da tanta paz y tranquilidad que incluso se te olvida de que va el anime, y, también, e una genialidad no solo por la dirección, el montaje y la animación, sino también porque es la llegada perfecta para Power y como toda la rutina cambia para los personajes.

For some reason, I woke up today with a very strong nostalgia. Missing what's gone and stuck in the past, but making myself a coffee calmed me down a bit. I'm not talking about drinking the coffee, which also helped, but making it, putting the phone aside charging and going to make coffee, waiting for the water to heat up and so on. That calmed me down and my focus was turned on, I knew that today I had to talk about march comes in like a lion, however, the coffee scene in chainsawman made me think of something else, that I didn't have to talk about just one anime, but rather mention the anime that in some way or another have stayed with me because of a scene that is, for me, audiovisual asmr.

Por alguna razón, hoy desperté con una nostalgia muy fuerte. Extrañando lo que ya pasó y atrapado en el pasado, pero hacerme un café me tranquilizo un poco. No hablo de tomarme el café, que también ayudó, sino prepararlo, dejar el teléfono a un lado cargando e ir a hacer café, esperar a que se calentara el agua y demás. Eso me calmó y se me prendió el foco, sabía que hoy tenía que hablar de march comes in like a lion, sin embargo, la escena del café en chainsawman me hizo pensar en algo más, en que no tenía que hablar solo de un anime, sino más bien mencionar los animes que de alguna u otra forma se han quedado en mi por una escena que es, para mí, asmr audiovisual.

March comes in like a lion is an amazing anime that I feel that everyone who likes anime should watch, but I don't want to talk more about it because I haven't seen it in a long time and I couldn't say more than how I felt while watching it. On the other hand, the chainsawman scene is also an amazing thing that I watch every now and then, but the truth is that it's only two minutes that have nothing to do with what that anime is as such; I admire that a little, just as in the second season of jujutsu kaisen there are several scenes that focus on showing the life and tranquility of the characters in the midst of so much chaos, I like it when an anime takes its time to show that despite everything that is happening, its characters are still somehow real, as also happens in cowboy bebop.

March comes in like a lion es un anime increíble que siento que todo el mundo a quien le gusta el anime debería ver, pero no quisiera hablar nada más de este porque hace mucho tiempo no lo veo y no podría decir más que el cómo me sentí mientras lo veía. Por otro lado, la escena de chainsawman también es una cosa increíble que veo cada cierto tiempo, pero la verdad es que son solo dos minutos que no tienen nada que ver con lo que es ese anime como tal; eso lo admiro un poco, así como en la segunda temporada de jujutsu kaisen hay varias escenas que se centran en mostrar la vida y la tranquilidad de los personajes en medio de tanto caos, me gusta cuando un anime se toma su tiempo para demostrar que a pesar de todo lo que está pasando, sus personajes siguen siendo de alguna manera reales, como también pasa en cowboy bebop.

Those anime that transmit so much peace are now one of my favorites, and the thing touches my heart so much that even if the anime has nothing to do with being peaceful or anything, just having a scene like that won me over. A scene where you show the passion of the animators to animate on a daily basis, what you don't forget is happening, but still show it. In my dress-up Darling there are several scenes like that, and even though it's an ecchi anime, the love with which the sewing and cosplay is treated reassures me; the same happens with mushishi or k-on. Anime that slow down your life.

Esos animes que transmiten tanta paz son ahora de mis favoritos, y la cosa llega tanto a mi corazón que aunque el anime no tenga nada que ver con ser pacifico o algo, con solo tener una escena así a mí ya me ganó. Una escena dónde se muestre la pasión de los animadores por animar por cotidiano, lo que se no olvida que está pasando, pero de igual forma mostrarlo. En my dress-up Darling hay varias escenas así, y a pesar de que es un anime ecchi, el amor con el que se trata la costura y el cosplay me tranquiliza; lo mismo pasa con mushishi o con k-on. Animes que bajan la velocidad de tu vida.
