Chicken Run

Drawing from the actions and storyline, I can infer that the script writer is a die-hard vegetarian. I am not a vegetarian but while watching this, I felt terrible for eating chickens. Lol. I mean the film made me almost see how precious their life means just as much as mine but then again, chicken soup is so delicious.

I found myself debating on whether to join the vegetarians to advocate for the lives of animals like chickens or continue savoring these sweet livestocks against their will and then I came to a conclusion that, to be fair, I wouldn't encourage that they're brutally murdered but watched closely and when at the point of dying a natural death, then they can be used for food to avoid wastage.

Anyway, this film is one advocating for the freedom of chickens. I mean the chickens motto is FREEDOM; It voices their feelings and portrays their fear when faced with death.

A flock of chickens were held hostage in a farm and each time one of the hens failed to lay eggs it was removed from the farm and butchered with a heavy Axe by the scary Ms Tweedy. This scared the rest of the chickens to death that they sought possible ways to escape the farm.

Each time they tried, they got caught by Ms Tweedy's husband and sent back to the coop until one day through the wit of Ginger, the one chicken who'd never given up on the escape plan, the chickens collaborated and built an aircraft which helped them escape the farm.

Inasmuch as this film is as old as I am, the humor and cinematography is top notch. While debating on whether to stop eating chickens or not, the chickens mentioned how delicious they are to humans and that's right! They know it! We know it! And that made me laugh till my stomach ached.

I like how the film combines humor and adventure seamlessly. Despite its claymation style, the movie brings a charming and engaging story to life. The characters, particularly Ginger and Rocky convey a perfect blend of wit and heart.

It is a feathered adventure that captivates audiences of all ages with its heartwarming storyline. It was quite exhilarating and suspenseful making it worth watching.
