THE FLU (2013) A Deadly Outbreak That Grips
Hello Movie Friends!
This time I want to review a film that is very relevant to our situation during the last pandemic. This film starring Jang Hyuk is very realistic and like deja vu with the state of the world during the last covid. The film entitled "The Flu" teaches us that an invisible virus can make us between life and death. Here's a short review from me, check it out!
SHORT SYNOPSIS
This film tells about a deadly virus outbreak. This virus is spread in the Bundang district, South Korea. Starting from a human smuggling in a container that turned out to have a disease originating from the deadly virus. when the container was opened, the people inside had died, except for one person who managed to escape and caused the virus to spread widely.
THE FASTEST KILLER
This virus is very contagious, especially through the air. The virus that sticks to clothes, walls and can even be directly inhaled by people around it. In addition to being contagious, this virus can also kill within 24 hours. Due to the large number of victims, the government immediately quarantined the people and asked them to wear masks and stay at home. Instead of following the government's direction, the people became chaotic and caused great panic.
LOOKING FOR A VACCINE
In the midst of the crisis that hit the city, a rescue worker Kang Ji-goo, played by Jang Hyuk, tried to save Kim In-hae, played by Soo Ae, who works as a doctor who is struggling to find a vaccine because her daughter is infected with the deadly virus.
In her struggle, the doctor was repeatedly made helpless, she believed that her child was the source of the vaccine because even though she was infected, she still survived and did not experience symptoms like people who were infected. Even the government did not believe her and tried to shoot anyone who passed through the quarantine route.
After showing evidence that the child was immune to the virus, the government finally believed her and gave the doctor the opportunity to make a vaccine.
CONCLUSION
This film seems to be a prediction during the Covid pandemic, where we have to stay at home and wear masks every day. The Flu is a film that presents tension, moral issues and also humanity. Where many people become selfish for their own interests. This film also shows what the government's responsibility is towards the global crisis.
For those of you who like films about plagues, I highly recommend this film. The entire storyline creates tension and the drama makes you touched. For me, this film is extraordinary!

Oh nice! I’m definitely going to watch this either how you’ve described the movie. The part where the government didn’t believe that the doctor’s child was immune also caught my attention. This is now on my list.
yeah, you should watch it. it's so suspenseful!
