Movie experience: Nine perfect strangers

Self-improvement, self-development, the best version of yourself - these are the trends of modern society on a par with efficiency and productivity. But here's the question: are we really striving for a better future or are we chasing old demons? And do our mentors on the path of enlightenment really know any secret of the Universe or are they in the same way bogged down in their internal problems and contradictions?

Retreats are popular. But, going to a paradise of peace and peace in today's crazy world, can you be sure of your own safety? Who are these people who promise you enlightenment and a solution to your problems? And, on the other hand, who are these people who gathered in your cozy oasis?

What do you know about your loved ones? Do you think they are too cold and not immersed in the grief that has befallen your family? They allow themselves to live on, smile, make plans and this outrages you. You can't understand why they don't grieve with you. And when suddenly it turns out that they are standing on the threshold of a huge abyss because of their own guilt, you will be infinitely surprised.

I'm not too inclined to self-digging, I don't visit psychotherapists and I don't need spiritual mentors. It's neither good nor bad, I'm just who I am. And yet I liked the series, despite the fact that it is far from my reality. The characters of the series have very different problems, which in general cover the spectrum of ordinary human problems, which means that everyone experienced something similar. You will find here what you understand and what is puzzling. The plot seems a little detective in some places, a thriller in some places, but in general the series is quite light and does not leave an unpleasant sediment. And there are also a lot of beautiful moments, beautiful nature and... now I'm looking for bamboo for my garden 😉
