An innovative and intelligent film about sexual themes that challenges the aesthetics of cinematic storytelling (simple locations, scenes with few characters, current themes that suggest debate and uncomfortable intimacy), and the current style (Wish You Good Luck Rio Grande), known for powerful films. that won awards at major film festivals such as Sundance and Cannes, and an Oscar with Steven Soderbergh, who at just 26 years old won the Best Screenplay Award.

The current theme of the film (lack of morals, repression and celebration of life from a sexual perspective), has a very good story, photography and explanations, complemented by a great direction, well presented and collected in a very good fictional story. Great title.

Graham, played by James Spader, thinks he knows women, even though he hasn't slept with them in years.

The demure Ann listened to him with the same interest as a psychiatrist, as her sex life was non-existent.

In fact, the two are one on one, hiding behind taboos: he is impotent and masturbates while watching videos of different women confessing their sexual experiences to him; she is sexually frigid and dislikes her husband John (Peter Gallagher) because John was unfaithful to her with his extroverted sister Cynthia (Laura San Giacomo).
