Critiquing The Declining Quality Of Recent Movies By Marvel Studios.
"Avengers: Infinity War", one of Marvel Studio's most successful movies
I was engaged in a discussion with my friend, Yomi, a few weeks ago about the movies that have been released so far this year. As we continued our conversation, we shared our views on some highly anticipated releases that we were eager to see. Both of us were disappointed with the plots of the movies "Shazam! Fury of the Gods" and "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania" after watching them. It was remarkable to discover that our appraisal of these movies was the same.
"Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania" was not as exciting as I had anticipated
While expressing our disappointment in these movies, Yomi also mentioned another movie that fell short of his expectations and was released last year: "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness." He told me that he was extremely disappointed with the movie's storyline and believed it was inferior to its first installment, which he rated highly. I shared the same sentiment as I was also unimpressed by the movie. Further discussions on the topic made both Yomi and me realise that we were unsatisfied with the recent quality of movies produced by Marvel Studios. We are big fans of the studio's superhero characters and prefer their older productions, such as the Spider-Man and Captain America trilogies featuring Tobey Maguire and Chris Evans, respectively, over the recent ones. After Yomi and I concluded our discussion, I went home.
Tobey Maguire played the role of Peter Parker in the Spider-Man movie that was released in the 2000s
That night, as I lay in bed, anticipating sleep, I began to reflect on all the issues Yomi and I had talked about. During this moment of reflection, a pleasant memory from my childhood resurfaced in my thoughts. The memory was about one of my favourite TV shows known as "The Cadbury Breakfast Show." My childhood was filled with various experiences and activities, and most of them revolved around my academics and social development. I followed a consistent routine every week: prioritising my academics during weekdays and engaging in activities like household chores, hobbies, and honing essential skills on weekends.

One of the hobbies I enjoyed on weekends was watching programmes on "The Cadbury Breakfast Show" on Saturday mornings. The show offered a refreshing way to unwind after dealing with the demands of schoolwork during the weekdays. After all, as the popular adage goes, "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy." "The Cadbury Breakfast Show" was one of my favourite TV shows because of its entertaining lineup of programmes. I particularly looked forward to watching the cartoons of Spider-Man, Iron Man, and the Fantastic Four. These cartoons had captivating storylines and were presented by the late iconic Stan Lee, the former executive vice president of Marvel Comics.
The "Iron Man" shown on "The Cadbury Breakfast Show"
The adventures of Peter Parker (Spider-Man), Tony Stark (Iron Man), and Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic from the Fantastic Four) were always a delight to watch. I appreciated the depth and fascinating nature of the storylines, which made me eagerly anticipate new episodes. The satisfaction I derived from these cartoons also sparked my interest in other superhero cartoons produced by different comic studios. While reminiscing about how entertaining the cartoons made by Marvel Studios were during my childhood, I couldn't help but wonder why the quality of their current movie adaptations was declining.
Marvel Studios has consistently entertained audiences worldwide with amazing content over the years. However, its recent movie productions have not been impressive and have left movie enthusiasts like myself and Yomi unsatisfied. I hope the studio receives and acts on the feedback from its audience to identify areas for improvement.
Thanks for reading,
Have a splendid day folks.

That makes the two of us, Queen. Our expectations of an intriguing sequel to the "Dr Strange" franchise was shattered by the movies superficial storyline.
Thanks for sharing your view on the topic of the post. Hope it was a pleasant read!
I don't know but I think the reason Marvel's slacking is probably because they merged w Disney! You can't tell me otherwise! Bro Marvel movies were top tier! I didn't even bother seeing Doctor Strange cause I knew it wouldn't be worth it. After all the hype of Black Panther,it ended up not being high grade. It was disappointing frfr. Antman and the wasp quantumania? Nah bro,I legit wasted my resources in downloading that movie I remember watching Infinity war about four years ago,bro the quality, the storyline, the character development! Nah, Marvel's done 🥲
Apparently, older movies produced by Marvel Studios have better quality in terms of their storylines compared to the recent ones. It's interesting to know that great movies like the 'Avengers: Infinity War' , which you mentioned, were jointly produced by Marvel Studios and Disney.
It still startles me that the studio has chosen to deviate from the traditional stories of its superhero characters in the comics when adapting them into movies.
I hope that Marvel Studios and its partner Disney, revamp their future movie productions to better satisfy their audience, including both you and me.
Thank you for reading and sharing your views on this post.
Frfr but during the era of Infinity war, Marvel and Disney weren't merged yet, I think.
The two companies had already merged before the release of 'Avengers: Infinity War'.
