It Only Happen In Nollywood

Boredom while crocheting made me open youtube app today just to keep the mood lively and I saw a nollywood movie which kind of caught my attention because of one particular guy Eso Dike and I decided to just watch it for fun. Well this guy (let call him Dike) was well made, worked his life out to be successful as an orphan and with that he run a charity organisation as a way of giving back to the community and he had this friend (call him duke) who is like a brother and always supporting him in everything as per bro code. With all Dike accomplishment, he wasn't happy because love did him strong thing and even with Duke advice, he didn't agree to find love and at times he will just take his vex on people around him.

It reach a point, life wasn't fair to him, Dike was diagnosed of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) which is rare to cure and that worsen his mood, but somehow luck shine on him when he visited a restaurant, vexed on a lady and they connect afterward and he was really in love with her to the extend that he talked about her everyday to his friend and the day he wanted to introduce her to Duke, she turned out to be Duke girlfriend but because he was really happy and he didn't want to spoil his joy, Duke didn't say anything at that point and he begged his gf to stay with Dike for the main time because he is sick and he didn't want to see dike sad during his last moment on earth. The lady said no but later on see reason to play along. Well at some point, I saw it as a stupid ideal because even though he always want the best for his guy, leaving his babe just to make him happy is a stupid idea and if his sick friend find out, he will feel betrayed.

Duke and his babe along for a while and at some point Duke started getting jealous because Dike always tell him everything about the lady and how he want to confess his love to her to the point of marrying her but he didn't know the lady already knew about his cancer illness. To cut it short, things didn't go well with Duke and his babe when Dike told him there is solution to his illness and it sounded as if they shot Duke in the leg, he started pressuring his babe to open up to Dike and quit the relationship but she didn't agree because according to her, they should still play along and confess later on, well I was thinking the lady is already falling for Dike at that point and somehow Duke was boiling but he can't do anything because he love his friend and the lady. The day they wanted to confess, Dike informed them his cancer became worse and he won't be able to survive it. They couldn't confess and Dike ask them to stay with him in the house to honor his last moment.

Well, they were in the living room playing lovey dovey when Dike caught them, he felt betrayed and sent them out, well I felt pity for him, almost dying and he found out the one he love wasn't in love with him, Duke later sent him a message confessing that he only want his happiness and that is the only reason why he did what he did by loaning him his Gf because he didn't want to see him sad during his last day on earth. Well this is just one thing that can only happen in Nollywood, no one will even want to do play such role by leaving his babe for his sick friend all because of his happiness because no matter how they plan it, it won't even end well at all, even at the very end, he won't be able to look at his girl with the same eyes again, like I said, It can only happen in Nollywood, check the movie below
