Nowhere (Movie Review) | A Journey Of Survival

It been long since I watch a movie that will really make me react somehow or to some extend touch my soul, only apocalypse movie do make me feel that way at times since it is a survival based moving, the moment you witness someone trying all the possible best to survive in a movie, running up and down, suffering even to the point of death, you will feel like entering the movie at some point just to save him or her. I came across another movie which I had to download tonight after my sister keep disturbing me to download it because of what some movie spoiler were saying on her status, I actually didn't want to download it because I saw it on netflix but skip it. The pestering was too much so I just had to give in and boom we started watching it.

The first scene made me felt somehow since it all started when the pregnant lady was trying to escape with her husband while running from one corner to another with a guy while trying to avoid security and the helicopter light then at some point they reach a location where they have to give up their wedding ring as extra payment fee before been taking into a moving container then everything drawn to me something is actually wrong. I won't say it is an apocalypse based but it seems like the end of a country where everyone is trying to survive, apparently they were targeting women, pregnant women and their children and it seems like they were either killing them or using them illegally else where. In the truck, there are other pregnant women present with their family, so they the truck started this unknown journey but along the way, they stopped at a point and some people rushed in and at some point, just to make the contain not to heavy, they split them and by mistake force the lady husband into another container truck.

Then I know, being alone is not an easy thing for a pregnant lady, she tried everything possible to stay in communication with her husband, at some point, the two truck reach the boarder and some security stopped them but since they are illegally transported, they had to hid in one part of the container but they weren't lucky enough. Luckily for her, she hid herself well enough and wasn't seen before they massacred everyone in the truck, then place the container on a ship. She was all alone in the container, traumatised and terrified at the same time, she didn't know what to do but was hopeful she will reach somewhere and also hope her husband was till alive, In the middle of nowhere on the sea, the terrible happened, most of the containers fell into the sea, she was alone in one and the one her husband was, fell also and sank while she was peeping through her container and she could hear their cry.

It drawn to her she is now all alone in the middle of nowhere while expecting a baby, she was trying to manage everything she could lay her hand on in the container but the moment she gave birth to her baby, things started getting tough because she have to take care of herself and also the baby, she was starve at some point and she had to eat her baby placenta just to survive at that point because the baby was feeding on her, the most painful part was when she finally cut the container open at the top because anytime soon, it will sink downward and also she had to find other means to survive, she started fishing while using her child poo as a bait, get rain water and all and at some point, she saw a plane flying over as because she was really excited and while trying to find a means to signal them, the container opening torn her flesh, that part really got me because she was in pain.

I was really sad but happy she was saved at the end after almost giving up and losing her baby to the sea but she was wise enough to tie the baby plank to plastic which make it float and the baby cry made her locate the baby after the container sank. At the end she was rescued through CPR. This movie is really a tough one to be honest and it will give you some reaction or made you even shout at some point.
