Films hold a special place in each of our culture and offer a unique form of art and storytelling. They have been a major form of entertainment for over a century... and it is likely that in the future we will see even greater diversification in the ways we enjoy stories and visual experiences.
From my point of view, movies, or rather the art of cinema, will be a thing of the past in a decade....people will turn to a completely different area of entertainment that may derive from this art of the film industry.
Many feel that AI will not be able to understand (or feel) emotions. I agree with this. It is one of the reasons why I do not fear the Skynet situation. AI will not become human.
Yes, AI is capable of simulating fears, emotions or various experiences thanks to various preset algorithms - it simulates them, but over time, maybe someone will manage to break the barrier and maybe....!!! Why wouldn't they do it in the future???😊 The way to form consciousness is being sought and human curiosity will one day succeed in replicating it.
At the moment, it doesn't seem to be serious what is happening in various fields, but over time, the Skynet scenario could be perceived as a prophecy - I still hope that it won't be like that. Take, for example, the field of brain-computer interfaces (BCI), which allow direct communication between the human brain and electronic devices. Companies like Neuralink, founded by Elon, are working on developing chips that can be implanted in the brain to improve cognitive functions and treat various neurological conditions.
I wonder what could happen if they decide to integrate AI into such chips??? My mind 😁 is already going to that scenario - Johnny Mnemonic.
