It's confusing from the trailer. I wonder where they are going with it. It appears his gone back in. Perhaps they got tricked back in and their memories wiped and then commence regaining them.

The trailer looks like they plugged him back into the matrix for sure! I am gonna watch it but matrix 3 was so bad I am not hopeful! !PIZZA

Agreed, that was the exact feeling I had, that somehow they had captured him (and trin) and plugged him back in.
Big reset within the Matrix as well with a mind wipe since the interactions between him and trinity were like strangers.

I can't remember, I just recall him not following what the previous Leo's did. Looks like I'm having a movie marathon this coming weekend to get across what happened again
