¿Cómo están el día de hoy? Yo super bien, con muchas ganas de venir a comentarles la última película que vi. Ayer estaba con mi madre viendo un poco que había en netflix, hasta que vimos que había una nueva versión de la masacre de Texas que era de un año muy reciente (2022), como ni mi madre o yo la habíamos visto, decidimos darle una oportunidad y ver que tal, sin más, quiero hablarles directamente de mi opinión sobre esta película

Lo que me parece más importante hablar al inicio de cualquier película es algo muy básico, lo cual es, ¿te gustó la película? Bueno, considero que no podría decir que no, pero tampoco que si. Personalmente buscaba una película de terror para ver un rato, y más que terror considero que esto fue suspenso y escenas crudas, que si le dieron su esencia a la película pero con cosas faltantes

What I think is most important to talk about at the beginning of any movie is something very basic, which is, did you like the movie? Well, I guess I couldn't say no, but I couldn't say yes either. Mi madre hace mucho tiempo, ya había visto una versión anterior de esta película, y ella pensaba que esta seria parecida, pero la verdad es que no fue nada así. Ella mientras pasaba la película me comentaba en que puntos era mejor las anteriores películas, y aunque yo no las haya visto puedo entender su punto. Según ella, las anteriores películas tenían una historia más interesante, y no sólo muertes y matanzas sin más. Me explico un poco la historia de las anteriores películas, y solo con eso si puedo decir que me parecen un poco mejores.

As she was watching the movie, she was telling me how much better the previous movies were, and even though I haven't seen them, I can understand her point. According to her, the previous movies had a more interesting story, and not only deaths and killings without more. She explained to me a little of the story of the previous movies, and with that alone I can say that I think they are a little better.

Ya hablando más de lo que pude opinar yo sola, me gusto ciertas partes de la misma película, como los momentos intensos donde habían peleas fuertes con el asesino, pero la verdad en la mayoría de los momentos, sentí que estas muertes eran muy sin sentido y que no me estaba andando ningún tipo de emoción con las mismas.

Speaking more than I could say on my own, I liked certain parts of the movie, such as the intense moments where there were fierce fights with the killer, but the truth is that most of the time, I felt that these deaths were very meaningless and that I wasn't getting any kind of emotion from them.

Otro detalle que no me gustó, es que yo siempre he tenido entendido que la masacre de Texas es una película como de viejo oeste y tal, pero aqui siento que colocaron a la gente de estúpida, haciendo ver que cuando el asesino llegaba todo lleno de sangre, ellos no tenían ningún tipo de reacción ni miedo, solo grababan con sus teléfonos y decían que lo funarian en Twitter. El tema de que la gente grabe, es una realidad que todos sabemos que pasa actualmente, pero tampoco siento que por el teléfono las personas se despojen de sus miedos, pero eso sí ya es una opinión muy personal, tal vez si podría pasar esto

Another detail that I did not like, is that I have always understood that the Texas massacre is a movie like an old western and so on, but here I feel that they made people look stupid, making it seem that when the killer arrived all full of blood, they did not have any reaction or fear, they just recorded with their phones and said that they would funarianize him on Twitter. The issue of people recording is a reality that we all know is happening nowadays, but I don't feel that because of the phone people get rid of their fears, but that is a very personal opinion, maybe this could happen.

También en muchos momentos sentía que eran irreal algunas de las muertes de los actores, ya que eran muy tontas. Un ejemplo de esto es que en un momento el asesino estaba pasando su sierra eléctrica por el piso ya que una protagonista estaba abajo del piso de madera, y este buscaba matarla. Aquí de verdad sentía y se notaba, que si la chica se movía hacia uno de los bordes, el asesino no tendría chance de matarla, pero igual ella decidió correr hacia el frente pensando que el asesino no sería más rápido de ella. Ese tipo de incongruencias me molestaban un poco, bajandole un poco el nivel a la película

También hubieron algunos detalles que si me llegaron a gustar, como lo fue el que al final de la pelicula, cuando parece que nuestras dos protagonistas se van a salvar estas están saliendo del pueblo en su auto, todo esto Cuando el asesino agarra a una y la asesina cortandole la cabeza frente a su hermana. Lo que me gustó de esta parte es que el asesino mientras termina la película hace los típicos movimientos que vemos en el juego de la masacre de Texas que tanto me gusta, eso me pareció algo muy increíble que se que también esta en otras películas, y me gusto que lo incluyeran

There were also some details that I liked, such as at the end of the movie, when it seems that our two protagonists are going to be saved, they are leaving the town in their car, all this when the murderer grabs one of them and kills her by cutting her head off in front of her sister. What I liked about this part is that the murderer while the film ends makes the typical movements that we see in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre game that I like so much, that seemed to me something very incredible that I know is also in other movies, and I liked that they included it.

Personalmente, no puedo decir que odio esta película, pero tampoco la amo. Creo que en algún tiempo libre que tenga me veré alguna de las versiones anteriores de la misma película, para comprobar por mi propia mano que tan buena o mala fue esta. Creo que puedo darle un 5/10, siendo una película muy regular, que no catalogaria como la mejor pero tampoco como la peor

Personally, I can't say I hate this movie, but I don't love it either. I think in some free time I will watch some of the previous versions of the same movie, to see for myself how good or bad this one was. I think I can give it a 5/10, being a very average movie, which I wouldn't classify as the best but not the worst either.
