Como están el día de hoy? Yo super feliz de estar por aquí con una nueva película de netflix la cuale es basada en hechos reales, y de verdad me dejo muy impactada. La película de la que hablé es La sociedad de la nieve y salió apenas el 4 de enero de este año. Sin más quiero hablarles un poco de ella y además exponerles mi sincera opinión
How are you today? I'm super happy to be here with a new netflix movie which is based on real events, and it really left a big impact on me. The movie I talked about is The Snow Society and it came out just on January 4th of this year. Without further ado, I want to tell you a little about it and also give you my sincere opinion.
La sociedad de la nieve
Resumen
Viajamos a 1972, donde conocemos a un equipo de Rugby Uruguayo. Estos chicos y algunas personas extras, van a viajar desde monte video hasta santiago de chile, para hacer este viaje, comen un avión gracias a que por la temporada, los boletos estaban bastante económicos
We travel to 1972, where we meet a Uruguayan Rugby team. These guys and some extra people, are going to travel from Montevideo to Santiago de Chile, to make this trip, they eat a plane because for the season, the tickets were quite cheap.
Sin más, aproximadamente 40 personas parten en un pequeño avión pasando las montañas de los andes, las cuales son claves para completar el camino hasta santiago de Chile.
Without further ado, approximately 40 people leave in a small plane passing the Andes Mountains, which are key to complete the journey to Santiago de Chile.
Lo que sucede en estos momentos, es que lamentablemente por las condiciones climáticas, el avión pierde totalmente el control y este se desploma hasta terminar en una parte de una montaña llena de nieve y totalmente desolada. Al caer, el avión se parte en dos partes y la cola se desprende totalmente, en este momento varias personas sales disparadas y mueren con la caida
What happens at this moment is that unfortunately, due to the weather conditions, the plane loses control and the plane plummets until it ends up in a part of a mountain full of snow and totally desolate. When falling, the plane breaks in two parts and the tail comes off completely, at this moment several people are shot and die with the fall.

The people who were seated in the front part of the vehicle managed to survive the impact, some of them with broken legs or very serious injuries. After the main impact, several people die little by little due to the wounds that could not be healed quickly and also due to the inhospitable weather conditions.
Esta tragedia sucedió en octubre, y aquí el frío se empieza a hacer mucho más fuerte que nunca. Entre ellos mismos acomodaron la pequeña parte existente que quedó del avión, y la convirtieron en su refugio para las noches

Habían dos personas que estudiaban medicina, y entre ellos hicieron lo posible por atender a los heridos, y algunos, gracias su cuidado, lograron sobrevivir hasta el final.

Entre todos abren las maletas y reúnen cualquier tipo de comida que hubiera y bebidas, las cuales en su mayoría eran licores. Los primeros días fueron los más fuertes, los heridos o con algunas dificultades amanecía muertos por el frío, ya que las noches eran muy difíciles
Between all of them they opened the suitcases and gathered any kind of food and drinks, most of which were liquors. The first days were the hardest, the wounded or with some difficulties woke up dead from the cold, as the nights were very difficult.
Empezaron a explorar los al rededores para tratar de encontrar algún tipo de ayuda o baterías para encender la radio del avión. Poco a poco se dieron cuenta de lo difícil que seria que los encontrarán, ya que la neblina no dejaba ver nada
They began to explore the surrounding area to try to find some kind of help or batteries to turn on the plane's radio. Little by little they realized how difficult it would be to find them, since the fog did not let them see anything.
Fueron tratando de sobrevivir con la poca comida que tenían, pero aproximadamente alimentar a 26 personas con unas cuantas raciones, no seria nada fácil. Mientras iban pasando los días, e iban muriendo más personas, se les acababan las posibilidades poco a poco
They were trying to survive with the little food they had, but approximately feeding 26 people with a few rations would not be easy. As the days went by, and more and more people were dying, they were running out of possibilities little by little.
El hambre los tenía locos, y poco a poco pensaban en sus posibilidades, con esas condiciones climáticas no sobrevivirán mucho tiempo sin comida, entonces a la semana y media, comenzaron a hacer lo que nadie quería. Comenzaron a comer la carne de los muertos para sobrevivir un poco más de tiempo. Se enteraron por una radio que llevaban consigo, que habían parado las búsquedas hasta febrero, entonces ellos sabían que debían sobrevivir a toda costa
Hunger had them crazy, and little by little they thought about their chances, with those weather conditions they would not survive long without food, so after a week and a half, they began to do what no one wanted. They started eating the flesh of the dead to survive a little longer. They found out from a radio that they carried with them, that they had worked the searches until January, so they knew that they had to survive at all costs.
Hicieron muchos intentos oara comunicarse, señales de s.o.s, buscar de conectar radios, caminar en diferentes sentidos, y nada les terminaba de funcionar. Fueron pasando avalanchas de nieve, las cuales mataron a muchos otros. Por enfermedad y demás razones, fueron muriendo de a poco, hasta que casi 60 días después del accidente, 3 chicos emprendieron camino por las montañas, tratando de llegar a Argentina o a alguna civilización.
They made many attempts to communicate, sending s.o.s. signals, trying to connect radios, walking in different directions, and nothing worked. Snow avalanches were passing by, which killed many others. Due to illness and other reasons, they died little by little, until almost 60 days after the accident, 3 boys started their way through the mountains, trying to reach Argentina or some civilization.
Al final uno de los chicos se regreso, pero 2 chicos después de 10 días, lograron llegar a una zona sin nieve, donde había un campesino el cual los rescato y llamó a las autoridades
In the end one of the boys returned, but 2 boys after 10 days, managed to reach an area without snow, where there was a farmer who rescued them and called the authorities.
Al final de esta horrible tragedia, terminaron sobreviviendo nada más 16 personas de las aproximadamente 40 que estaban ahí. Estos hombres fueron rescatados y rehabilitados en un hospital de la zona
At the end of this horrible tragedy, only 16 of the approximately 40 people who were there survived. These men were rescued and rehabilitated in a local hospital.
Obviamente no puse todas las cosas horribles que pasaron, ya que me extendería mucho, pero en la pelicula se nota que su situación fue horrible

Mi opinión
Antes de decir nada, tenemos que entender que esto es basado en hecho reales, esto de verdad sucedió, y personas que sobrevivieron, hablaron con el director de la película para lograr montar esta película.
Before saying anything, we have to understand that this is based on real facts, this really happened, and people who survived, talked to the director of the film to make this movie.
La verdad esta película me dejo muy muy muy impactada, ya que ni me imagino yo sobreviviendo a una situación del estilo. Al final de la pelicula, lo primero que dije fue wow, los traumas tan horribles que les tuvieron que quedar a estos hombres, no se podrán curar con casi nada
The truth is that this movie left me very very very shocked, because I can't even imagine myself surviving a situation like this. At the end of the movie, the first thing I said was wow, the horrible traumas that these men must have been left with, will not be cured with almost nothing.
Esta película la vi junto a mi madre, y ambas dos nos quedamos muy sorprendidas con todas las situaciones que aquí redactaron. Mi madre busco algunas opiniones de la pelicula, de las personas que habían sobrevivido a esta tragedia, y muchos de ellos comentaban que esta era una versión muy ligera de lo realmente había pasado.
I watched this movie with my mother, and both of us were very surprised with all the situations that were written here. My mother looked for some opinions of the movie, from people who had survived this tragedy, and many of them commented that this was a very light version of what had really happened.
Y la verdad, entiendo que diga eso. Nunca podremos saber, como se siente exactamente todo lo que pasaron. Desde nuestras casas o en el cine, sentados cómodamente en nuestros asientos, jamás tendremos una mínima idea de que es pasar frío de esta manera tan fuerte, ni un hambre tan grande como para hacer lo que sea por sobrevivir, ni podremos sentir como estaban los heridos con esas condiciones tan limitadas. La verdad espero nunca experimentarlo.
And truthfully, I understand why you say that. We can never know what it feels like exactly what they went through. From our homes or at the movies, sitting comfortably in our seats, we will never have the slightest idea of what it is like to be so cold, so hungry that we will do anything to survive, nor will we be able to feel how the wounded were with such limited conditions. I really hope never to experience it.
Mientras investigabamos, leimos cosas como que tuvieron que comerse el cerebro y huesos de los muertos para tratar de obtener algo de calcio y vitaminas. Tambien que casi todos contrajeron escorbuto, lo que les hacia tener los dientes totalmente debiles. Tambien debian a veces hacer sus necesidades en sus pantalones, gracias a las condiciones tan horribles afuera, y mucas cosas más que nos hacen entender que la pelicula es muy ligera
While investigating, we read things like that they had to eat the brains and bones of the dead to try to get some calcium and vitamins. Also that almost all of them got scurvy, which made their teeth totally weak. They also sometimes had to relieve themselves in their pants, thanks to the horrible conditions outside, and many other things that make us understand that the movie is very light.
Otra cosa que me parece muy impresionante, es que gracias a lo unido que estaban, lograron sobrevivir 71 días con esas condiciones tan inhóspito, más aún tomando en cuenta que estaban en invierno donde es muchísimo más inhabitable ese tipo de montañas
Another thing that I find very impressive, is that thanks to how united they were, they managed to survive 71 days with such inhospitable conditions, even more taking into account that they were in winter where it is much more uninhabitable that kind of mountains.
Es triste pensar, como quedaron emocionalmente, luego de sobrevivir y ser rescatados. Pensar en que tuvieron que comerse a sus amigos, familiares, o hermanos de toda la vida para poder estar en la tierra un día más.
It is sad to think, how they were left emotionally, after surviving and being rescued. To think that they had to eat their lifelong friends, relatives or siblings in order to be able to stay on earth one more day.
Aquí cuentan, que las personas que cortaban la carne, no decían exactamente a quién cortaban, para que los demás lograran comer sin sentir culpa. Pero hay que pensar en estas personas que cortaron a los muertos, como tuvieron que sentirse sabiendo a que amigo se estaban comiendo por sobrevivir
Here it is said that the people who cut the meat did not say exactly who they were cutting, so that the others could eat without feeling guilty. But you have to think about these people who cut up the dead, how they must have felt knowing which friend they were eating to survive.
Los actores que estuvieron en la película, contaron que tuvieron que bajar de peso drasticamente para lograr rodar esta película lo más realista posible, y además, tuvieron que exponerse a esos fríos tan asesinos para sentir un poco de los que realmente sintieron estos supervivientes. Y aún así, dicen que no es ni la mitad de lo que ellos sintieron, ya que estos al final del día podían devolverse a sus hogares, los supervivientes no podían hacer eso.
The actors who were in the movie said that they had to lose weight drastically to make this movie as realistic as possible, and also, they had to expose themselves to those murderous cold to feel a little bit of what these survivors really felt. And yet, they say it's not even half of what they felt, because at the end of the day they could return to their homes, the survivors couldn't do that.
En la película muestran el momento donde uno encuentra una cámara y empieza a tocar fotos de todo. Esto es algo que realmente si paso, existen algunas fotos que tomaron los mismos chicos mientras estaban atrapados en esa montaña, y la verdad se nota el deterioro por el que pasaron, un momento totalmente traumatico
In the film they show the moment where one finds a camera and starts to take pictures of everything. This is something that really did happen, there are some photos taken by the boys themselves while they were trapped in that mountain, and the truth is the deterioration they went through, a totally traumatic moment.
Espero que todas esas personas que murieron en la tragedia real, hayan logrado descansar en paz, y que los supervivientes, hayan logrado tener una vida tranquila dentro de lo posible
I hope that all those people who died in the real tragedy, have been able to rest in peace, and that the survivors, have managed to have a quiet life as far as possible.

Mira, yo también la ví y aun pienso que debo montarme en un avión dentro de pocos dias y aunque no pasaré por montañas ni nada de eso, pienso que esos chicos fueron lo mas extraordinario al sobrevivir ante todas las adversidades. De verdad que no he investigado mucho pero si vi que las fotografías eran reales de esos moomentos.

Hola, esta es una nueva versión de Viven, y si, el rodaje debió ser difícil para los actores, y ni hablar de lo que realmente pasó. No he leído nada sobre el accidente, pero que duro eso de comerse el cerebro y los huesos. Esta película me la recomendaron, estoy por verla para compararla con la versión original. Saludos.

También pienso que la película fue bastante sutil, pero imagino que la hicieron así para mantener el respeto de las personas que experimentaron ese acontecimiento. La película me gustó y me hizo llorar al final.
Para mí es una película bastante impresionante y cruda pero a la vez entretenida y emotiva.
