I'm a big fan of an action movie with a touch of comedy, and most things when I'm craving this. The actor who usually makes this a reality is Kevin Hart, but despite him not being in those movies, I would say that this is an action park movie yet kind of funny, acted by Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz, where they played the role of retired spies who are now nurturing their family and putting the old nature of their job behind them.

The movie began with Matt (Jamie Foxx) and Emily (Cameron Diaz), who were sent on a mission to go and steal a particular key from a gang leader who's hosting a party in his house. They were successful in the mission and were asked to bring the key back home. On their flight back to their duty post, it was discovered that a coup had been staged against them to take the key from them and kill them, but they managed to fight their way through all those onboard the plane and fly out with a parachute before the plane crashed and blew up.

After that incident, they decided to retire from their job as spies and start a family together, since Emily was already pregnant with Diaz, and that was going smoothly for them for the next 16 years until the children grew up and their cover was blown up during one of their monitoring avenues to know the movement of their daughter, which led to them fighting and getting themselves recorded and seen by many, including the CIA and gang members that wanted the key for themselves.

This is an intriguing movie. I actually love and enjoy the actions projected in the movie, although I must say that some scenes are kind of predictable, making it seem less fun, or like most Hollywood movies now use almost similar suspense. I'm talking about how their former boss and friend Chuck (Balthazar Brunt) came to their doorstep and tried to warn them about how their cover has been blown and how the CIA will soon come and arrest them.only for him to be shot while still talking. Immediately I saw that since I had the mindset that these gunshots could be fake, and it ended up being so, even though I was almost convinced to think otherwise when the CIA boss was also acting suspiciously.

Given the nature of the movie generally, I don't think it meets the standard of some of my favorite movies because I felt it lacked some real actions that get you sitting on the edge of your chair or the jokes that ought to make you roll with laughter, and ended up only leaving some touch of smile on my face. In a nutshell, the actions and humor are more or less a hit or miss for me.

I did enjoy the movie, even though it's not up to par with some that I enjoyed, especially action-comedy movies acted by Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson, but it's still dope and entertaining, and if I'm to rate it, I'll give the movie a 6/10.
