Have you watched this movie, Gladiator?
Recently I watched it again, Joaquin Phoenix (Joker fame) was amazing in this, bet I am sure most of us didn't knew about his great acting before Joker.

Very good choice of movie ! Definitely a classic.
I'm sure those who watched Gladiator remember pretty accurately Joaquin Phoenix, and wanted to kill him a dozen times haha.

Interestingly it's been debunked that the Roman games were violent and killer-like. And it was very rarely that someone was killed in the games. I mean when you think of it, it doesn't make sense to get your best gladiators killed.

I wish I had some links for that. But I think Roman violence is a hollywood bastardisation! :)
