Movie Review - Let It Snow From Book with The Same Tittle
Halo ASEAN Buddies..
In a conversation to improve my speaking skills, I talked about John Green's books that I had just read, Let It Snow, and I just found out that it had been adapted into a movie on Netflix. Of course I wanted to see how the filmmakers adapted the story of three couples on a snowy night. I watched it and found that Tobin is kinda cute guy. Okay, let's talk about this movie.

Let It Snow tells the story of a group of teenagers who had spent their winter holiday around Waffle Town Restaurant. They are related to each other and connected to a waffle restaurant called Waffle Town. Yeah, this story is more appropriately called Waffle Town in winter.
Julie, who was traveling by train, suddenly met a famous singer, Stuart Balle. When their train was stuck in a snowstorm, they accidentally went to a restaurant called Waffle Town and spent some time together until they finally became close.
Another story is The Duke, Tobin, and JP who experienced a roller coaster friendship. On the way to Waffle Town, they were stopped by the twins and accidentally stopped at a church. Tobin, who had liked The Duke for a long time, felt jealous when he saw his best friend's closeness to JP. Finally, they separated because Tobin couldn't handle his jealousy while The Duke, whose real name is Angie, thought Tobin was too childish.

Looks how cute Tobin here and I am in love with him
On the other hand, there was Addie who lost contact with her boyfriend, and was also abandoned by her best friend, Dorrie, because Addie kept talking about Jeb (her boyfriend) all the time. When she sees Jeb at Waffle Town with his friends and doesn't budge when he spontaneously questions her feelings, Addie breaks up with Jeb and apologizes to Dorrie.
Then the party at Waffle Town mediates the problems between the three couples.
In My Rare Opinion
Unlike the book which is told in each author's style, this film is certainly mixed. Each main character gets the same screen share. My hate and love about the western film industry is about how they package each film without any dramatic impression. All the scenes flow so much that sometimes it becomes boring. In the film Let It Snow for example, I really enjoyed the story of The Duke, Tobin, and JP, but felt very bored with the other stories, especially the story of Dorrie and the Cheersleader. You know that Netflix lately always emphasizes unusual love from the same gender. Ow, I certainly like the conventional love between a girl and a boy. And I love how Tobin loves The Duke. In the book, I said that I love how Stuart Balle and Jubile meet then improve their feelings in one night, but in the movie, I love the Friend Zone of Tobin and The Duke. As I said that Tobin looks so handsome and cute.
Although I enjoyed the story of The Duke and Tobin, unfortunately, this movie is not a movie that I can watch again if I have boring days. I think (again) I will give this movie the same rate as the rate on Netflix, it’s about 1 start from 5 start because I just love the story about Tobin and The Duke. I don’t know why they were ruin my imagination about the book.
Luckily, I read the book before I saw the movie. I guess I should have waited to see Looking for Alaska after I read that book.
Thanks in advance guys, to read my blog and hope you like my post!
See you on the next post...

Hi, Halo, Annyeong! Welcome to my galaxy.
I have so much imagination in my head. Something that I can't achieve as a human and as a girl. So writing is very challenging. Since Junior High School, I have written whatever I want to write. Without skill, I just write what I want to read. Now I have 12th published novels and all of those are romance.
Yeah, I proudly say that I am a passionate author, traveler wannabe, and blogger.
