Hi everyone...
How was your day?
It's been a little while since the last I shared my daily activity. Last day, I had a hectic day on working. I was supposed to be back home at 4 P.M., last day I went home at 5 P.M. That day too, there was a new movie released. The movie starred my favorite actress, so I planned to watch it, alone. I prefer watching movies alone, this is sometimes I use when I feel like I need some me-time.

However, before I watched the movie, I attended a K-book festival held at Lotte Avenue Shopping Center.

K-Book Festival

K-Book Festival is an annual event held by Korea360. This is part of the Korea Festival, where the day before there was also an event related to South Korea. This is of course to strengthen the relationship between Indonesia and South Korea, as well as to introduce South Korean culture in Indonesia. I accidentally found this event the day before, when I stopped by for a while to read a book in peace. I saw the festival brochure that was held on almost all floors of the Mall, and luckily I hadn't missed this K-Book event.

On the day when K-Book was held, the main hall was filled with shelves of original South Korean-published books in Korean as well as books by Korean authors that had been translated by several publishers in Indonesia. There was also an event for students, namely making lamps. I didn't join it because I was late. Besides, I just got home from duty, so I couldn't join the event that started at 2 PM, but I still got the vibe. It was a fun day because they made beautiful creations.

While watching the euphoria, I saw Korean translated books on the right corner. I chose two books recommended by the staff and read a few pages. I was interested in one book, which was previously recommended by the staff. It was a thriller fiction book, it seemed like I would put it on my list. Then, according to the staff, tomorrow there would be a talk show and book signing by the author of the novel. Unfortunately I missed the news, which said that every participant had to register through their website, so I missed that valuable opportunity.

This is my favorite corner. I feel like I want to spend the whole day there reading translated books. They are thriller books. I believe that the storytelling style of Korean writers is very unique and as a writer I feel I have to know how their style is when concocting brutal ideas in their heads into writing. This is a good medium for reference when I continue the Baruna manuscript later. Ha ha ha

In addition to displaying original books by South Korean authors, there is also information about legendary South Korean authors. I may have never read their works, but I am sure, their books are very good and influential to Korean literature. Let me checking out later.

  • It's Movie Time

There was a funny story when I wanted to watch the movie. My friend informed me that the movie was showing at Lotte Shopping Avenue, which is the mall where the K-Book Festival is located. Stupidly, I switched to another mall which fortunately was nearby. I walked for 10 minutes and then realized that the movie was not showing there when I was in front of the cinema. How stupid I am. So I went back to the original place. Fortunately, the showtime was still 1 hour away, so I still had time to order tickets, order snacks and coffee, then wait for a few minutes.

I was so excited when the movie started because Alia Bhatt and Vedang Rania are my favorite actors. Their acting is so promising that I am sure I will not be disappointed with their movie. For those who don't know, Alia Bhatt is an actress who is currently loved because of her film choices and her increasingly mature acting. She also starred opposite Gal Gadot in Heart Stone, so yeah, there is no reason not to watch Jigra in theaters.

Even though after duty, doing something that you love is like charging your energy.

Thanks in advance, to read my blog and hope you like my post!
See you on the next post...

Hi, Halo, Annyeong! Welcome to my galaxy.

I have so much imagination in my head. Something that I can't achieve as a human and as a girl. So writing is very challenging. Since Junior High School, I have written whatever I want to write. Without skill, I just write what I want to read. Now I have 12th published novels and all of those are romance.
Yeah, I proudly say that I am a passionate author, traveler wannabe, and blogger.
