This is bull...
Today, I learned that my life and all of its crazy happenings were...
orchestrated by some evil God named Akiyuki Shinbo from a sect called SHAFT...
I attempted to find more information about both on the internet...
but instead I accidentally glassed the planet with strawberry sorbet this time...
just like when I met the three Yagami sisters...
a year ago and the world was plasterered in chocolate...
I knew of the Gods at that time...
I believed my idiot older brother, Kamiomi, was one...
but I inherited that curse instead...
Reviewing my life is bull...
I wish I could remain lazy…
How Did We Get Here
Four years ago, we were hiding…
in the human country of Japan…
on the planet Earth...
I couldn't go outside...
The sun hurt my eyes…
and the world was scary...
I wanted to live peacefully with him...
and spy with my Brother Surveillance System...
to make sure none of the other girls took him away from me...
He's my homeroom teacher; not theirs...
When I came of age, we were to be married...
On February 14th, I finally confessed with chocolate...
Of course, Brother was a big idiot!!!
He gave it away to Tama Yagami...
She thought she was his wife then…
He didn’t understand Valentine’s…
Such a mess…
About the Three Yagami Sisters
We started off as enemies...
They used my computers,...
and dirtied my keyboards with food...
I wished they’d leave me alone!!!
They could be called "magical girls..."
I knew them as the lesser Gods...
Was there any difference???
Tsurugi Yagami
- 31 years old (eldest sister)
- has the body of a 9 year old but talks like a 60 year old man
- teaches at my high school
- uses a heavenly black sword as her weapon
Kagami Yagami
- 16 years old (middle sister)
- always sleeping yet passes all classes
- fellow classmate that I hoped to be friends with
- uses techno magic
Tama Yagami
- 9 years old (youngest sister)
- has the body of a 31 year old but the personality and mind of a 3 year old
- thinks she's a frog
- has super human strength and the ability to consume concepts, matter and energy
About the Visuals
After reviewing the footage of the Valentine's Day Event...
I can honestly say that my world in the eyes of SHAFT...
is a mixed bag. The general animation and overall presentation...
looked the best in these instances:...
- when Brother was feeding me
- when any major action scenes were happening
- when I finally got dressed and stepped out into the world (only to hide in my blankets again)
The rest of the scenes were fine but the line work,...
animations and backgrounds were inconsistent in their quality...
The animators also used many different camera angles...
and aspect ratios for scenes that looked like the above image most of the time...
I wish they would have let me design everything...
I could have finally seen what Brother's face looked like...
I've never seen it…
About the Audio
I finally sung the ending song along with the Yagami girls...
After episodes of "practice"...
Most of the time, I'm either sleeping, annoyed, lazy or...
My Brother was an idiot, making it all one big joke...
I'm not sure how I feel about the presentation of "Alteration" - ZAQ...
I found myself humming the track in the background...
Until Brother called it cute!!!
I still don’t understand how his clothes vanished...
After every punch…
The visuals were… fine?...
but I can see them being too confusing...
The way they were cut and edited fit with the track...
but the glyphs used throughout were from the Shinto doctrine of this world...
and some of the imagery hurt my head…
I promise I’m adorable!!!
I couldn’t bother looking up the composer…
The soundtrack wasn't something I'd order...
The action scenes were where the music worked best for me...
I wish nothing played when I cried…
My tears are still gross!!!
Speaking of ordering...
I want a refund for that chocolate!!!
This is such bull...
I'm not surprised at no English dub...
My voice is just perfect...
The dialogue was very Japanese...
and would not translate well for a Western Audience...
About My Dislikes
I'm supposed to tell you the things I don't like here...
but wouldn't that be self-deprecating and mean?...
I wish I could have stayed home longer...
but Brother finally convinced me to head back to school...
and let him be my teacher again...
That was so embarrassing, especially when he took me out for Sushi...
and asked me to eat him in front of everyone...
I love him dearly but still have pride as a woman!!!
I also don’t know why monsters and vehicles were in 3D…
My Eroge and pillows looked better…
2D wives and Gunpla kits or bust….
My Closing Thoughts
Having people watch me without my consent is creepy enough...
but if you must, only watch me when I'm cute like this...
(ignore the subtitles... I promise I'm not a degenerate!!!)
