"A Lagos Love Story" The Review
This is actually me coming to brag a little about my nation's movie industry; I know I've applauded them severally, but then I think it's always good to tell the truth when something sweeps you off your feet. So I'm here to say that my nation's movie industry has been sweeping me off my feet for the past few months and someone should check up on me because I'm not walking with my two legs properly.
So I've been seeing this movie popping on my feeds as the most watched movie, but then I was kind of surprised because no one is talking about it; then I started asking myself, "How is it most watched when people aren't talking about it?" so I just kept my cool. Maybe people that have watched it don't want to talk about it. Maybe they are hiding the sweetness to themselves.
The Plot
"A Lagos Love Story" tells the story of an Afro-beat superstar and an event planner whose lives crossed. The ambitious event planner Promise Quest was given a task to make the afrobeat superstar "King Kator" appear on time for all his events and also with the task of getting his boys under control.
Everything was going smoothly, and strictly on business till one moment, everything changed. "Sounds familiar, right?" The two found themselves falling in love with each other, but then would the world accept that?
My Review
Firstly I'm a big fan of the actor "Mike Afolarin," so I feel very eager to watch every movie that he was featured in. Just like this particular one, he is the major reason I had to sit down and stay glued to my screen for the duration of the movie.
The cast did an amazing job, the chemistry that existed between the superstar and the event planner was electric and I wish it could sparkle like that forever but then it is just a movie "So I'm gonna rest" Every scene that the two were together would always leave me sitting at the edge of my seat blushing at those moments.
The sisterly bond that existed between the two sisters was incredible; I could feel the bond was genuine and felt so real. It made me remember how my sister and I would act anytime we were angry or upset with each other. No one apologized to the other, but then, one way or the other, we would find ourselves connecting again.
Let's pause for a moment and talk about the "fashion" aspect of the movie; now I was so impressed with the wardrobes of Adanna and how it possessed this sophisticated lifestyle. Now I'm gonna say every wardrobe of the different cast captured the diversity of Lagos state or should I say "Nigeria" as a whole.
In all, the movie was an interesting masterpiece. I'm gonna give my flowers to the cast and everyone involved in the production of this movie.

Thanks for reading 🧡
I think there are trendy movies that are liked at the time of watching but are forgettable almost immediately haha, this may be the case, a good example are several marvel movies of the first phase that achieved high numbers at the box office but are forgettable 😅
I do not see much of this type of movies but if it is noticeable in images the fashion or fashion element you mention, I'm not much of the latter haha but they look spectacular actresses and actors which helps with the chemistry that tansmiten, clear and in history would have to see to better evaluate your favorite actor that you follow any movie that goes haha and other characters 😃
Yeah. It's the fashion act that even drew me more to the movie. Often I get carried away by being lost in the fashion.
Thank you for stopping by my post.
thanks to you for bring us this great movie 🤗
