I can't even put into words which part of this series intrigues me the most.
I saw everything there is to witness in one series.
I loved every moment, and scene and each episode came with its thrills, I couldn't have asked for more after all the hype about the series.
The funny thing is that with this series too, I was able to somehow convert a non-Kdrama lover to start seeing Korean series and appreciating their show
She couldn't stop exclaiming how much she loved the series and that she couldn't even delete it off her phone after finishing the series.

The Movie

King The Land is a 16-episode Korean drama series, filled with a little bit of suspense, fun, thrilling and romantic scenes.
The movie features a male lead Gu Won and a female lead Cheon Sa-rang and other related casts.
Gu Won is a smart, handsome, charismatic, and non-smiling heir of King Group who has little and almost vague memory of his mother. He got separated from his mother at a very tender age and in an attempt to recover his memory, he had to return to King Hotel, run and piloted by his sister Gu Hwa Ran

Cheon Sa-rang on the other hand is a hardworking, cheerful and beautiful young lady with a bright and lovely smile who made it her life mission to ensure that she was employed to work where she had dreams of working even as a little child.
Fortunately for her, her interview was a success even when she didn't even believe it would be, having already encountered what could be termed as Bad luck or omen just right before she was interviewed.
Despite that, Cheon Sa-rang was accepted which felt like a dream come true for her, she couldn't help but put in her best while working there from the lowest rank until she got to her dream space King The Land.
The love-hate relationship between Gu Won and Sa-rang began as they kept bumping into each other and had one or two things to do together.
Despite Gu Won being a pain in the ass, Sa-rang maintained her charisma and tried her best to give the best of everything she could offer with joy and gladness and always putting up with Gu Won with a smile although faked at times.

Poor Sa-rang got entangled with Gu Won every time until they eventually fell for each other, stood by each other and fought for what was right.
Aside from Gu Won, Sa-rang had two amazing friends who always stood by her, celebrated with her, cried with her and comforted her whenever necessary.
I specifically loved the level of commitment and friendship between the three friends and I couldn't help by wonder if such a genuine friendship existed or could still be made in reality especially where I come from.
