Sky Full of Stars, Head Full of Peace
I could argue that stargazing is equivalent to scrolling on social media, except the former is actually healthy and has little to no negative side effects😅. There is nothing as mesmerizing as getting lost in the constellations and glittery stars.
I used to do it all the time back in the university. I wasn’t exactly financially buoyant enough to fund the activities that could help me unwind after a stressful day of lectures. So we had to get creative in finding other activities that could help out.

And so one night, after a bloody exam, my buddies and I strolled out to receive some fresh air and recuperate. The campus road was void of any cars or students rushing to class for lectures. We took advantage of that and proceeded to stroll in the middle of the road.
After gisting for a while, we eventually found a neat patch of grass and decided to settle in it. It was one of those nights where the moon shone so brightly that it could easily be mistaken for daytime. Once we were settled, a calming silence enveloped us, and we all uniformly laid our backs down onto the grass and stared at the heavens.

It was almost hypnotic because there was so much to admire. The way the gray and black clouds moved across the sky, the twinkling of the tiny stars, and the full moon shining in all its glory.
After that session, I definitely felt at peace and ready for the next exam. And ever since then, I never fail to snatch up any chance I get to do it again. Stargazing remains one of my go-to activities for recharging with friends.
Another thing I love to do with loved ones is go to dance parties. When my cousins and I get together, just know it’s about to get lit!! We always have the best dance parties. Nobody throws it down better than us.
It’s a shame we don’t get to meet as often these days, but during the holiday seasons, rest assured, we stay having the time of our lives. Our dance parties also come in handy after a long day of chores.
My Cousins And I
The holidays, though very fun, can also be extremely hectic with the amount of cooking and cleaning we have to do. We basically spend most of our days in the kitchen, serving food to the multitude of uncles, aunties, cousins, family friends, etcetera.
But being able to come together after it all and dance away the stress was quite memorable. When I think back to every Christmas, there is always a dance party in there somewhere.
Finally, my favorite way to unwind and recharge is to watch a spectacular movie.
There is a difference between watching a movie alone and watching it with friends or siblings. I prefer watching with people, although people might not say the same if they had to watch one with me.
Why?
Because in between all the exclamations I’d be making, I doubt that you’d be able to catch anything the actors are saying😅.
I Appreciate You 🤗

Stars are awesome. There's loads in the southern part of Australia where I live - way more than England, where I was a month or two ago. It was great to get back and see them.
I can only imagine what a sky full of stars would look like. Over here, we have stars as well, but they're aren't exactly numerous.
Thanks for stopping by River🤗
Yay for star-gazing and dancing, both two favorite activities of mine as well. You certainly seem to have found great ways to reset and recharge (and the fact that they're free probably helps boost the mood, too). I also love that we're talking about one (at least) that also helps you socialize, which is vital for when we're feeling drained and out of sorts. Star-gazing, like all good things, can have wonderful benefits regardless if done alone or with a close buddy.
Loved this! Thank you for participating in the #KISS prompt. 💋
Star-gazing has literally never let me down in times when I need something to cheer me up.
I see you dance as well, I didn't know we had dancers in the community😄. Cheers!
Thank you Honeydue🤗🤗, I appreciate the warm feedback🤗
And we appreciate you (and your thoughtful contribution to the #KISS initiative).
Thanks for your #KISS
We enjoyed it 😉

Thank you 🤗
Taking a walk on a lonely road, and star-grazing sound beautiful, the things that make us truly happy most times are simple and free.
I agree with you, human beings aren't so complicated at times.
The littlest things manage to put a genuine smile on our faces.
Star gazing is therapeutic abeg. I remember a while back when NEPA was doing their strike. My phone ran out of charge, I laid face up by my window and I could see the stars.
You would think I had seen something out of the ordinary. It's been so long I looked up. Our eyes are always fixated on our phones, our paths, our destinations that we forget to look up.
I'm not sure I can see a movie with you or maybe I'd just seal your lips shut. I enjoy listening to the dialogues, the emotions, the way each scene supports the next, the facial expressions and every other thing.

I'm saying too much already. Bye!
End!
This is so true! And it's funny too because the beauty of nature abides all around us, all we have to do is just take a second away from life, and look up, or down, or sideways 😅
😂😂😂😂 Ko necessary now 😅😅
I think you would actually like my in-movie commentary if you heard it. I can be very animated and fun to listen to.
And how do you intend on sealing my lips shut?😶
Indeed, most times I actually walk home from the office, just so I can look around and just appreciate the things around me.
I don't want! Your voice may sound nice and all but I still don't want! 😏😏😏
Hehehe Does Evil Laughter
😈
Ever heard of duct tape?
Damn Nigga!
A simple no woulda sufficed.
Hehehe. I needed to make the point clear my Darling
😌
Point taken
😌😅
When my brother and I were teenagers we liked to watch movies together because we would spend the whole time commenting on the movie 🤭 It was exciting! I love the simple things you do to pass the time and you don't need to spend money, in the case of watching the stars 💟
