The Undoing: A Symphony of Emotions and Unpredictability
Have you ever watched a film where you’re literally 20 minutes away from the credits rolling and you still have absolutely no idea how it’s going to end? Well, do me the honor of introducing the series “The Undoing”.

I am happy I stumbled upon this film. I’m not usually a fan of series, so this particular one was the perfect one for me. There were just six episodes, from start to finish, and each episode had just the right amount of suspense to make you want to click the “Next” button.
I cried, laughed, and gasped in shock and fear. And then I cried some more 😅. This movie will do that to you!
Without further ado, let’s get down to business.
ABOUT THE MOVIE
The storyline portrays Grace and Jonathan Fraser, who, at first glance, seem like the perfect couple. Grace is a therapist, while Jonathan is a renowned oncologist. Together, they share a son.
Money is no object to them, as they live in an opulent house, wear high end clothing, and even send their young boy to a very big private school. Jonathan plays the role of a responsible and perfect husband to Grace and father to 12 year old Henry.
All is well until one day the parent of a child in their son’s school is found dead, and the police start investigating all the parents. The night of the murder, Jonathan conveniently travels to Europe for a cancer convention and becomes unreachable.
The police then investigate Grace and inquire about the whereabouts of her husband.
They later discover that the victim’s son used to be a patient of Jonathan's and that Jonathan had been fired from his place of work three months prior for a case of inappropriate relationship with a client. On further investigation, they find out that Jonathan used to have an affair with the deceased.
Grace, who had no idea about all this, is heartbroken at the betrayal of her husband. Now Jonathan is wanted by the police as a suspect in the case. He is later found and brought to court.
At this point, the movie circles around the court case. Grace now knows her husband cheats and lies, but is he a murderer?
STORYLINE
The plot of the movie is amazing, with no plot holes whatsoever. By the end, all the questions were answered and the curiosities satisfied. Each episode evoked excitement, shock, curiosity, fear, sadness, hope, and many more emotions from me.
The suspense was mind blowing. I never hesitated to click on the next episode; heck, I finished this in one day. Every character had a purpose and a contribution to the overall story.
It was the perfect blend of romance, mystery, and drama.
ACTING
I mean, from the moment Nicole Kidman appeared in the first scene, I knew I was hooked. I suspended every activity I had for the day and settled down to watch this properly. And needless to say I was not disappointed one bit!
One could tell that each and every actor was handpicked specially for their respective roles; I could feel the level of expertise conveyed in each and every role and character.
They all embodied their roles excellently. Starting from the facial expressions and bodily movements down to the delivery of their lines, these were all executed harmoniously.
FINAL THOUGHTS
The movie was magnificent, and I’m glad I came across it. Above all else, I love how Grace was able to carry me along through her journey. It was so relatable; it was easy to feel her feelings alongside her and understand her decisions.
She found herself between a rock and a hard place. How do you stand up for your husband in court when he lied to you and cheated on you repeatedly? It was very hard to decide if he was a murderer or not.
And this coupled with the fact that she had to protect her son from the reputation and bad name of his father.
Yet she stood tall and strong amidst the adversity and did what she thought was best for her son. I admire that a lot.
I give this movie a 10/10 rating. If you are not a fan of series either, I recommend you watch it; you won’t regret it!

With that pair of stars as leads, I think the story must be excellent, as I doubt they would have risked bringing those characters to life.
You left me curious to know the ending!
Excellent review
That was the same thing I though before clicking it😅
The movie is definitely worth the watch !
Thanks for reading through and leaving an amazing comment🤗
I'm definitely going to put it on my list to watch with my parents. Me and them love suspense movies or series. I recommend one called Locked In, you can get it on Netflix.
You guys should definitely watch it. It is family friendly, although it has a little splash of violence in there.
I'll check out the Locked in series as well. Thanks for the recommendation!
Yay! 🤗

Wow, now you are pushing toward watching this series as I am not quite a big fan of American series. It just always unfinished to me, lol, but I would check this out.

I would like to watch this movie because of the trauma in it.
It's not easy for a woman to defend a cheating lying husband in court but I love the maturity of Grace for standing tall as a virtuous woman.
#dreemerforlife
She indeed was a virtuous woman and put her son first in her decisions.
This feels like a movie I will recommend to my husband to see
