Gorzelnia w Piecowicach / Distillery in Piecowice

Przed wyjazdem w dane miejsce staram się mniej więcej zorientować czego mogę się spodziewać albo czego mam szukać. I czasem wiem co jest moim głównym punktem programu, a czasem coś mnie zaskakuje.

Piecowice to kolejna wioska w gminie Długołęka (województwo dolnośląskie), do której można dojechać autobusem, ale ja postanowiłam pojechać rowerem. Ma to taką zaletę, że mogę objechać wszystkie interesujące punkty i łatwo jest mi się zatrzymać po drodze, żeby zrobić zdjęcie.

Before I go to a place, I try to get a rough idea of what to expect or what to look for. And sometimes I know what my main point of interest is, and sometimes something surprises me.

Piecowice is another village in the Długołęka municipality (Lower Silesia voivodeship) that can be reached by bus, but I decided to go by bike. This has the advantage that I can go around all the points of interest and it is easy for me to stop along the way to take photos.

Zauważyłam, że jednym ze stałych elementów polskiej wsi jest krzyż. 

A kolejnym stara chałupa.

And another is an old cottage.

Natomiast pomnik poległych w I wojnie światowej był trochę zasłonięty, więc na początku nie bardzo mogłam go zlokalizować. Jest za płotem po prawej stronie.

The memorial to those who died in the First World War, on the other hand, was a bit obscured, so I couldn't quite locate it at first. It is behind the fence on the right.

W gminie Długołęka póki co każda miejscowość ma lub miała swoją mapę. Są w różnym stanie. Częstym elementem są również słupy ogłoszeniowe.

Na mapach google jako jedyna atrakcja wyskakuje Górka Piecowicka. Zatem oczywiście była ona również na mojej liście.

Troszkę mnie rozczarowała. Natomiast pozytywnie mnie zaskoczyły boiska sportowe, wiata i miejsce na grilla. Fajna, duża przestrzeń. Pusta w sobotnie wakacyjne popołudnie.

It disappointed me a little. On the other hand, I was positively surprised by the sports fields, the shed and the barbecue area. A nice, large space. Empty on a Saturday holiday afternoon.

Z boku boiska zauważyłam też dość spory pomnik. Doczytałam w internecie, że był to młody piłkarz, który był chory.

Następnie dotarłam do "stawu", który był zamknięty na kłódkę.

Moim celem był budynek dawnej gorzelni, w którym potem był Disco Club. Aktualnie widać, że ktoś zajmuje się tym terenem.

My target was the former distillery building, which later became the Disco Club. Currently you can see that someone is looking after the area.

I mogłabym powiedzieć, że w Piecowicach to tyle. Ale oczywiście po drodze znalazłam jeszcze jedno dobre miejsce do zrobienia instafotek.
