Tenía mucho tiempo sin escribir una #review para la comunidad de #CineTV, pero en esta temporada de Halloween me animé a participar en una iniciativa que está activa, donde nos invitan a Mostrar: ¿Cuál es nuestra película de zombis favorita?
Y como ven en el título y en la miniatura de este artículo, mi elección ha sido la película (World War Z) y déjame decirte que la elección de World War Z como película de referencia no es casualidad, ponte cómodo que acá inicio con mi review de dicha película y espero que te guste.
I had a long time without writing a #review for the #CineTV community, but in this Halloween season I was encouraged to participate in an initiative that is active, where we are invited to Show: What is our favorite zombie movie?
And as you can see in the title and in the thumbnail of this article, my choice has been the movie (World War Z) and let me tell you that the choice of World War Z as a reference movie is no coincidence, get comfortable that here I start with my review of that movie and I hope you like it.

En el vasto mundo del cine, hay ciertas películas que destacan por su capacidad para atraparnos a nosotros como espectadores en un viaje emocionante, y esta es, sin lugar a dudas, una de ellas.
La película de la cual estamos hablando hoy es dirigida por Marc Forster y basada en la novela de Max Brooks, la película nos sumerge en un apocalipsis zombi de proporciones globales, y de allí su nombre.
El personaje principal es interpretado por Brad Pitt, y a este punto creo que ya todos conocemos a este gran actor, pues en realidad ha tenido muy buenas películas donde él es el protagonista principal, y esta es una de esas grandes películas.
La misión es salvar a la humanidad, una tarea realmente difícil de hacer, pues los que ya vieron la película sabrán las complicaciones que eso presentaba, y es importante mencionar que acá no daré ningún tipo de Spoiler para respetar el derecho de que cada uno la pueda disfrutar al 100%, solo les daré la información suficiente para que se animen a verla.
Lo que llamo la atención de muchos espectadores en el año 2013 que fue la fecha en la que esta película se estrenó, fue que destaco por su impresionante escala, su cinematografía de primer nivel y su capacidad para transmitir una inmersión inquietante en un mundo al borde del abismo, a pesar de que este estilo de trama lo hemos visto ya en muchas películas, pero está en específico tiene un toque especial.
In the vast world of cinema, there are certain films that stand out for their ability to trap us as viewers in a thrilling journey, and this is undoubtedly one of them.
The film we are talking about today is directed by Marc Forster and based on the novel by Max Brooks, the film plunges us into a zombie apocalypse of global proportions, and hence its name.
The main character is played by Brad Pitt, and at this point I think we all know this great actor, because he has actually had very good movies where he is the main protagonist, and this is one of those great movies.

What caught the attention of many viewers in 2013 which was the date on which this film was released, was that it stood out for its impressive scale, its first class cinematography and its ability to convey a disturbing immersion in a world on the edge of the abyss, although this style of plot we have already seen in many films, but this one specifically has a special touch.

World War Z se desarrolla en un mundo al borde del colapso debido a un brote zombi, lo que pasa en la típica película de zombis. Pero a diferencia de muchas películas del género, esta película adopta una perspectiva global, llevando al espectador a través de varios países y culturas mientras luchan por sobrevivir, y eso sin duda es interesante, pues en la mayoría de películas solo nos muestran como se ve en solo una ciudad o país, pero mas no muestra una vista global.
La trama es un viaje épico y estremecido que nunca da tregua, y siempre te mantiene atento a lo que pasara, así que te aseguro que no te aburrirás.

The Plot
World War Z takes place in a world on the brink of collapse due to a zombie outbreak, which happens in the typical zombie movie. But unlike many films in the genre, this film takes a global perspective, taking the viewer through various countries and cultures as they struggle to survive, and that's certainly interesting, as most films only show us what it looks like in just one city or country, but don't show a global view.
The plot is an epic and harrowing journey that never lets up, and always keeps you on the lookout for what will happen, so I assure you won't get bored.
As the protagonist, Gerry Lane (Brad Pitt), goes deeper into this chaos, he takes us with him, plunging us into the heart of the nightmare.
Actuación
Brad Pitt brilla en el papel de Gerry Lane, y como lo dije al inicio, siempre ha tenido ese brillo propio en cada una de las películas en las que participa.
Su actuación es convincente y apasionada, haciéndonos sentir el miedo y la determinación de su personaje.
Además, el elenco de apoyo respalda de manera sólida la historia, contribuyendo a la credibilidad del mundo que se nos presenta, entonces todos son buenos actores y cumplen muy bien con su rol den esta película.
Las interpretaciones de los sobrevivientes, soldados y civiles son cruciales para hacer que la amenaza zombi sea palpable y real, además que otra de las cosas que me gusta de esta película, es que los zombis tienen movimientos rápidos, no como las demás donde nos muestran a los zombis como personajes lentos, eso de verdad no da adrenalina, imagina que un zombi que camina muy lento te persigue, solo corres y te libras del peligro, pero con los zombis de esta película no creo que sea tan fácil escapar jajajajaj.
Performance
Brad Pitt shines in the role of Gerry Lane, and as I said at the beginning, he's always had that signature brilliance in every film he's been in.
His performance is convincing and passionate, making us feel the fear and determination of his character.
In addition, the supporting cast solidly supports the story, contributing to the believability of the world we are presented with, so they are all good actors and fulfill their role in this film very well.
The performances of the survivors, soldiers and civilians are crucial to make the zombie threat palpable and real, plus another thing I like about this movie, is that the zombies have fast movements, not like the others where they show us the zombies as slow characters, that really does not give adrenaline, imagine that a zombie walking very slowly chases you, you just run and get out of danger, but with the zombies in this movie I do not think it is so easy to escape hahahaha.
Cinematografía y Dirección
La cinematografía de World War Z es simplemente deslumbrante para resumirlo en una sola palabra. La dirección de Marc Forster nos presenta secuencias de acción intensas y caóticas que mantienen al espectador al borde del asiento.
Algo que también me encanto son las tomas aéreas de ciudades en ruinas y la forma en que se representan los ataques zombis son impresionantes. Forster logra una mezcla equilibrada de momentos de tensión y suspenso, lo que contribuye a una narrativa fluida.

Cinematography and Direction
The cinematography of World War Z is simply dazzling to sum it up in one word. Marc Forster's direction presents us with intense and chaotic action sequences that keep the viewer on the edge of their seat.
Something I also loved are the aerial shots of ruined cities and the way the zombie attacks are depicted are impressive. Forster achieves a balanced mix of tense and suspenseful moments, which contributes to a fluid narrative.

Los Personajes
Los personajes en World War Z son más que meros peones en una trama de zombis, pues de verdad que los zombis destacan mucho, claro que esto lo digo solo desde mi punto de vista personal.
Cada uno de ellos tiene sus propias motivaciones y luchas, lo que les brinda profundidad y empatía. A medida que la película avanza, nos preocupamos por su destino y nos involucramos emocionalmente con ellos.
The Characters
The characters in World War Z are more than mere pawns in a zombie plot, because the zombies really stand out, of course I say this only from my personal point of view.
They each have their own motivations and struggles, which gives them depth and empathy. As the film progresses, we care about their fate and become emotionally invested in them.
Lo que realmente me ha gustado
World War Z es una montaña rusa de emociones. Desde el comienzo, se siente la urgencia y la magnitud de la crisis. La película crea una sensación de desesperación que te mantiene en vilo durante toda la proyección.
Las secuencias de acción son coreografiadas magistralmente, y la manera en que la trama se despliega te mantiene en vilo, esperando ansiosamente lo que sucederá a continuación, entonces por eso que he decidido tomar esta película para mi post de CineTV.
Es un thriller apocalíptico que te sumerge en un mundo devastado por los muertos vivientes y te mantiene en vilo de principio a fin, justamente es lo ideal para ver en esta temporada de #Halloween.

What I really liked
World War Z is a roller coaster of emotions. From the very beginning, you feel the urgency and magnitude of the crisis. The film creates a sense of desperation that keeps you on edge throughout the entire screening.
The action sequences are masterfully choreographed, and the way the plot unfolds keeps you on edge, anxiously awaiting what will happen next, so that's why I've decided to take this movie for my CineTV post.
It's an apocalyptic thriller that plunges you into a world ravaged by the undead and keeps you on edge from start to finish, just the thing to watch this #Halloween season.
