Hoy es día martes, estamos iniciando la semana y no podemos decir que tuvimos un fin de semana muy agradable, pues la disminución de valor del mercado Crypto fue algo que desamino a muchos, pero es momento de relajarse un poco, dejemos de lado la caída de las crypto en las últimas 24 horas y divirtámonos un poco viendo una buena película.

Y para el día de hoy quiero hablarte de una película la cual me ha gustado mucho y la he visto recientemente, ¿Ya viste la película Aquaman y el Reino Perdido?, tiene algunas cosas buenas a tener en cuenta así que te invito a leer mi review sobre dicha película, espero que la disfrutes.

La trama y los personajes

La película nos trae de vuelta a Jason Momoa en el papel de Arthur Curry, también conocido como Aquaman, si no viste la primera película titulada: Aquaman, te explico que desde los inicios de esta saga que continuara nos presentaron a Jason Momoa como Aquaman, y creo que es un buen personaje para interpretarlo, tanto en su aspecto físico que hace parecer a un personaje robusto, como en su estilo de actuación.

En la primera entrega de esta película la cual fue publicada durante el año 2018, podemos ver la historia de cómo Arthur Curry se enteró de que él era hijo de la reina del mar, pues una Chica de Atlantis se había enamorado de un habitante común y corriente de superficie, y es allí como nace una relación entre dos mundos para dar como fruto a Arthur Curry, quien luego derrota a su hermano del océano para ser el sucesor como rey de Atlantis, ese es el resumen de la primera película.

Este es el Poster de la primera película, y desde ya en un inicio de esa primera película nos presentaron solo por unos pocos minutos a un personaje de nombre Black Manta, quien luego de que Arthur asesinara a su padre, juraría cobrar venganza.

Y es así como Black Manta pasa a ser el villano en la película de El reino perdido.

Pero ahora hablemos un poco de Aquaman el Reino Perdido, acá podemos ver el regreso de Patrick Wilson como Orm, el medio hermano de Arthur, es notable. A pesar de algunos diálogos y momentos bobos, Wilson logra mantener el interés tanto en lo dramático como en lo cómico, además que en esta película la ayuda de Orm es necesaria para poder tener un buen desarrollo, pues en la primera película Orm conocía muy bien a Black Manta.

Es importante recordar en el película anterior Orm fue encarcelado, por órdenes del mismísimo Arthur ya que lo consideraba una amenaza para la superficie pues Orm está en contra de los ideales de Arthur con el tema de querer mostrar el reino de Atlantis a los humanos de la superficie, pues como es habitual los humanos están contaminando los mares, pero Arthur es fiel creyente de que si Atlantis se muestra ante la superficie, los humanos entenderán que ellos existen y que tienen que cuidar el medio ambiente en general.

Ahí podemos entender la rivalidad que existe entre los dos hermanos, algo que se ha mantenido desde la primera película, marcando un límite de diferencias notables por el poder de Atlantis.

Si hablamos un poco sobre la cinematografía, debo admitir que los escenarios son geniales, de verdad que muestran con majestuosidad una Ciudad acuática (Atlantis) donde la tecnología es incluso superior a la que usan los humanos comunes en al superficie, podemos ver sistemas de transporte, mercados y mucho más, todo es genial, además de criaturas marinas increíbles.

Los colores son muy llamativos y su paisaje en general me ha gustado mucho, y esto es algo que en la primera película no se destacó en gran sentido, pues se enfocó un poco más en la rivalidad entre hermanos, y dejaron de lado que el foco principal era la ciudad de Atlantis, pero para esta segunda entrega parece que se dieron el tiempo para mostrar la majestuosidad de lo que pudo ser Atlantis.

Efectos visuales y actuaciones

Los efectos CGI son bastante solventes y las coreografías de lucha son impresionantes y con mucho suspenso, digno de una película como estas donde la expectativa de ver que pueda pasar está latente.

Jason Momoa se entrega a ese rol de personaje algo rudo, en el sentido de que prefiere hacer todo a la fuerza bruta, pero de igual forma es noble y simpático, algo que ha ido cultivando poco a poco, además de que ahora es padre, de un pequeño bebe que en futuras películas será el foco principal de la historia pues tiene el potencial de ser el heredero del trono de Atalantis, y esto lo digo ya que también posee las mismas habilidades que su padre Arthur.

Sin embargo, la película presenta a Arthur, como un tipo corriente con habilidades especiales, como un rey apto para su puesto, no es nada más que eso, fuerza descomunal, habilidades superiores a las de cualquier humano, y sí, Claro que también puede hablar con los animales del océano jajaja, por si te hacías esa pregunta, Aquaman no sería Aquaman sin su habilidad de poder comunicarse con los peces.

Pero cada uno cumple muy bien con su actuación, y acá te hablo un poco de cada uno de los personajes con mayor participación en la película:

Visual effects and performances

Aspectos negativos

A pesar de los aspectos positivos, la película tiene sus fallos. La historia dirigida por James Wan es predecible: una temible civilización perdida amenaza con resurgir por culpa de la ambición humana. Además, el personaje de Black Manta, interpretado por Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, parece tener una única motivación, tal cual como lo indique al inicio, y esa motivación es vengarse de Aquaman.

También vi algunos personajes de los cuales me hubiese gustado que tuvieran mayor participación, claro ejemplo es el de Mera, interpretada por Amber Heard, ella es la esposa de Aquaman, pero en escena solo aparece para hacer muy poco, siento que está allí solo para rellenar un espacio faltante, en realidad su actuación o participación no hace mucha diferencia.

Negative Aspects

Despite the positive aspects, the film has its flaws. The story directed by James Wan is predictable: a fearsome lost civilization threatens to resurface because of human ambition. Pero en lo general es una buena película para que pases un rato divertido y lleno de suspenso, y aun más las partes finales donde la guerra contra el imperio perdido comienza, acá no di muchos detalles para no hacerte un Spoiler de dicha película, pero si te animo a verla, lave la pena el tiempo que le dediques, solo que como lo indique, puede llegar a ser muy predecible.
