Greetings to all I hope you are having a profitable week, I am a movie lover especially of films that are based on real facts, and is the case of the film Hidden Talents, an American film made in 2016, about the life of three African American women who worked at NASA.

The three women were calculators who worked at the Langley Research Center, one of them Katherine, played by Taraji P. Henson for her great knowledge in analytical geometry is selected to work in the space work group, led by the character of Harrison which is played by actor Kevin Coster,

Throughout the film you can see the difficulties that these three women go through for being black and especially for the fact of being a woman,

Each one of them is creating her destiny and making her way in a world of men and especially white. We can see Dorothy played by Octavia Spencer, resolving to launch the new computer that would be the replacement of the women calculators, managing to demand that her companions work in the programming center that in the end will be directed by her.

At the same time we see how Mary played by Janelle Monae, for her knowledge applies for an engineering position at NASA where she realizes that not only her mathematical skills will help her, so she begins to study, in a world as I said before of men and whites.

During the movie we see how stigmas are being broken, as when Harrison claims her to leave the area for so long and she explains that she has no bathrooms because they are exclusively for whites and she has to walk a lot, to which in response Harrison goes and break the sign of exclusivity and others.

criteria

It is a film that we should all see, as it gives us the possibility of not only knowing the lives of great people in history, but also how women are becoming empowered, how technology is growing and not for this has to fully replace the man.

How in the midst of adversity love can flourish, the family and its union is the pillar of any society. It is a film that more than personal stories also drags the growth and development of a society and a country.

Saludos a todos espero que estén teniendo una provechosa semana, soy amante del cine en especial de las películas que están basadas en hechos reales, y es el caso de la película Talentos Ocultos, una película estadounidense realizada en 2016, sobre la vida de tres mujeres afroamericanas que trabajaron en la NASA.

Las tres mujeres eran quienes calculaban y que trabajaban en el Centro de Investigación Langley, una de ellas Katherine, interpretada por Taraji P. Henson por sus grandes conocimientos en geometría analítica es seleccionada para trabajar en el grupo de trabajo espacial, liderado por el personaje de Harrison el cual es interpretado por el actor Kevin Coster,

A lo largo de la película se pueden ver las dificultades que atraviesan estas tres mujeres por ser negras y sobre todo por el hecho de ser mujer,

Cada una de ellas va creando su destino y abriéndose camino en un mundo de hombres y sobre todo blancos. Podemos ver a Dorothy interpretada por Octavia Spencer, decidida a poner en marcha el nuevo ordenador que sería el sustituto de las mujeres calculadoras, consiguiendo exigir que sus compañeras trabajen en el centro de programación que al final será dirigido por ella.

Al mismo tiempo vemos como Mary interpretada por Janelle Monae, por sus conocimientos solicita un puesto de ingeniera en la NASA donde se da cuenta que no solo sus conocimientos matemáticos le servirán, así que se pone a estudiar, en un mundo como he dicho antes de hombres y blancos.

Durante la película vemos como se van rompiendo estigmas, como cuando Harrison le reclama que abandone la zona por tanto tiempo y ella le explica que no tiene baños porque son exclusivos para blancos y que tiene que andar mucho, a lo que en respuesta Harrison va y rompe el signo de exclusividad y otros.

criterios

Es una película que todos deberíamos ver, ya que nos da la posibilidad no solo de conocer la vida de grandes personajes de la historia, sino también como la mujer se va empoderando, como la tecnología va creciendo y no por ello tiene que sustituir totalmente al hombre.

Cómo en medio de la adversidad puede florecer el amor, la familia y su unión es el pilar de cualquier sociedad. Es una película que más que historias personales también arrastra el crecimiento y desarrollo de una sociedad y un país.

Yo vi la película hace un tiempo. Realmente tiene una muy buena historia. Me gustó bastante como las tres se apoyan para salir adelante. Es una magnífica película sobre el empoderamiento femenino.
