The pursuit of happyness(2006) || Lessons on determination
Good day all, I hope you all are having a great day, today I bring to you guys a very unique and inspiring movie titled The Pursuit of Happyness, which I would be very happy to share with you.
The movie stared will Smith as Chris Gardner,
His 5 year old son Jaden Smith as Christopher and Thandie Newton as Linda.
The movie revolves around Chris Gardner who is a sales man based in San Francisco and had to go through a lot as a single father in other to raise his son.
Although the odds were against him , Chris was determined to achieve his dreams of becoming a stockbroker, this movie is a perfect example of how success can be achieved through determination.
The very first financial ruin of Chris Gardner is the beginning of the movie. Full of entrepreneurship spirit , young Chris Gardner decided to invest his savings in a very nice innovative venture, a portable bone density scanners , he was very enthusiastic about this investment as he presumed it will be an easy sell since it will be needed by doctors.
Just like life won't always give us what we asked for , the investment made by Chris Gardner turned out the wrong way as the innovation became expensive , many considered it to be unnecessary . This was Chris" first financial ruin.
The financial ruin really had a very negative effect on Chris as his wife, Linda unable to cope with the current situation, abandoned him and his 5-year old son and decided to relocate to new York.
As luck would have it , Chris bumps into a successful stockbroker and was determined to pursue his career in the field of finance. His hard work and dedication earned him an opportunity of being among an unpaid internship program at Dean Witter Reynolds, even though the competition for this spot was very tough.
But life had other plans for this young. When it seems like all was falling in his favor, he was evicted form his apartment as he didn't have enough money to make payment for rents, thus he and his 5 year old son was rendered homeless. It was a pretty tough time for the San Francisco based sales man as he had to struggle to take care of his son , combining his internship with selling the remaining of the scanners.
Although life continued to make things hard for him , the san Francisco salesman was full of determination and resilience.
Finally, luck smiled on him as he was later given a permanent full time position by his superiors for his dedication towards his job.
This movie is recommended for you guys as it shows that no matter the challenges one is facing, when you are determined to pursue a goal or passion, you will always come out victorious.
Life Will not always give us the things we want, but when we work hard for it ,we are sure to get it.
Thanks for stopping by, I really appreciate.

When i tell you , while watched this movie i cried my eys out, it was so emotionally captivating in away we have not seen before... the directing of this movie was top notch because it had covered an aspect of struggle mode and survival i that may have seemed out of touch to a lot of people but in really fact a relatable context in an average mans life and also apply to women in a different way, love it so much, i guess i better see it again. Thanks for sharing.
Well since you are a lady, I kind of want to know your opinion....do you think it's wrong when women leave because the basics need they needed could not be afforded ?
