Hello CineTV

Children help us to see the best or worst in humanity. The beauty and innocence of children give us a glimpse of something that we can grow out of or become calloused towards as we grow up. We also cannot fathom the awful feeling when terrible tihngs befall children either by society, circumstance or even those in charge of their care. Movies can amplify those feelings as we are immersed in that wonder and sometimes anguish.

I want to thank all of those that entered the previous contest. It is great to see more entries as we move towards what we expect to be another crypto bull run. Keep stacking cine because there are big things coming that I can't yet tell everyone about, but trust me you are going to want to be involved with this growing community!

Let's get to the winners!

First Place

The first place finisher was @filotasriza3 with movies with Small Soldiers found here: https://peakd.com/hive-121744/@filotasriza3/cinetv-contest-small-soldiers-movie-1998

I remember this movie but I never saw it. I absolutely love how you connected your review to your own childhood and what it meant to you. Thanks and congrats!

Second Place

The second place finisher was @bisolamih/z with their selection of Aki and Paw Paw found here: https://peakd.com/hive-121744/@bisolamih/aki-and-pawpaw-or-or

What an incredible review of a movie that I haven't seen as well. It resonated with so many others that it had to be most memorable! Thank you!

Third Place

The third place finisher was @luckydrums with Like Stars on Earth, found here: https://peakd.com/hive-121744/@luckydrums/cinetv-contest-like-stars-on

What a touching story where someone goes out of their way to help a child. Thank you!

Congrats!

Favorite Movie Duo

There have been some amazing actors and actresses that have starred together on screen in one or multiple films that have become legendary. They could of course shine on their own but there is something magical when two people have some chemistry on screen. They play off of each other and make not only each other better, but the film as well.

I chose Thelma and Louise for the image because they are a famous duo but I don't want you to feel limited to only movies with two main characters like this one. No, you can also write a review of a movie where you think the two actors play well off of each other or have starred in many great movies together. You are free to play around with this theme as long as you justify your choice in your review. For example, from my younger years some of my favorite comedians that did a few movies together were Chris Farley and David Spade. If I were entering this contest I would pick one of their movies, like "Tommy Boy" and write about what I liked about the movie and how they made an amazing duo on screen with their jokes and timing.

For this contest I want you to do something very similar. Pick a a duo that impressed you on screen and then write about one or more of their movies. Tell us why you liked them and what they brought together that was more than what they could do separate. Make it original and unique!

That's all for this contest. Be original and have fun. Tell your friends!

If you have any questions or concerns feel free to tag me in the Discord channel (caulderfreeman). Enjoy this week's contest and good luck!

It's a very wonderful contest topic. I don't know why, after reading this The character duo that came in my mind is Steve and Dustin from Stranger Things. They were fun together.

This one's going to be tricky. I haven't really watched any movies as of late but I'll rewatch one of the movie with amazing duos that I genuinely loved and write about it I guess;)
