Movie Review: La Dolce Villa

I saw this movie suggestion in Netflix a few days ago and I immediately thought - I have to watch this!

A not too long movie, of 1 hour and a half - and it was 9 pm at Saturday night. I would finish just in time for the Hive Chess Tournament!

But lets talk movie!

A romantic comedy.

Just what I needed, a light movie!

Starring: Scott Foley, Violante Placido & Maia Reficco
The actors choice was good, they complemented the scenario in a very nice way.

About the movie:

Dolce Villa is a heartwarming film that beautifully blends romance and humor - with the background of a stunning Italian countryside.

The cast is talented and the scenery breathtaking, so I would absolutely recommend this movie to anyone who wishes to spend 90 minutes watching a very pleasant film. (It would be ideal for a boyfriend choosing movie for a night with the girlfriend)

The film follows Marco, a devoted single father who has spent years raising his teenage daughter, Sofia, on his own. Sofia, is becoming an adult and wants to live as independently as possible, wishes to make her own choices.

Something not easy for her dad to accept, as he follows her to Italy to see for himself that one-euro house that she wanted to buy!

During that adventure, Marco unexpectedly crosses paths with the city mayor, an inspiring and strong woman who is becoming the leading role for their goals!

Will Marco rediscover love; Will he be ready to leave his American life;

And what does Il dolce far niente mean;

Dolce Villa is a feel-good movie that touches on themes of love, change, and letting go.

For me it was a very pleasant film! My highlights: The Antonie :) The Italian that they were speaking during the movie and the pet :)

The movie has a rating of 6.1 and I would definitely agree!

This review is well enough to describe how entertaining the film would be. Sometimes i just want to watch a film to relax and not to play detective.
