Hello everyone welcome to my blog🤗.

I enjoy watching Hindi movies, despite the fact that I do not understand the language. Subtitles have made watching such movies easier for individuals who do not understand Hindi.

I'm a big fan of Amitabh Bachchan, his films are thought-provoking, incredibly inspirational, and insightful.

**MOVIE SUMMARY **

Goodbye (2022) is a Hindi-language family drama film directed by Vikas Bahl that stars Amitabh Bachchan, Rashmika Mandanna, Neena Gupta, and Pavail Gulati.

The movie is about the loss of a loved one and how individuals deal with bereavement. Its a dark comedy, drama. If you're highly emotional or has loss a loved one just know you will definitely cry while you watch the movie, just keep your tissue box close.

The film begins with the tragic death of Gayatri, Harish's wife. The couple has four children who live in different cities and an adopted daughter who lived with the parent while their children were away. After his wife died, Harish attempted to phone his children to inform them of the sad news, but none of them answered. He had to contact the hotel room service to inform his daughter that her mother had died.

The family has long-standing grievances, generational divides, and unresolved tensions.

Tara the youngest daughter had issues with her parents and siblings because shes thinks differently and so strong-willed.
Tara, the rebellious daughter, has difficulty understanding conventional burial rites, which causes her to disagree with her father. The first son only wants to complete the rite as quickly as possible so that he can return to the city and continue his career. While the second son, who is married to a white woman, is apprehensive about having children. The adopted daughter tried as hard as she could to put the house in order while she grieves, she tried to assist Harish with the domestic chores and with the errands during the period of mourning.
The other son's phone isn't reachable so he wasn't informed of the sad news.
Anyways, everyone manage grief differently.

The movie was centered on trying to fulfill the ritual art and connecting the family because that had always been the mothers wish before her demise.

The dark comedy part was centered on her people behave at a funeral house. Some are just after cheap gossip, while some cry fake just to win the family and society love, for some there are just after the food and drinks and many more.

****MY REVIEW****

The movie is very emotional and i really love the storyline . Theres much to learn from the movie about life and grieving.
In life we tend to value people more especially when there are no more. Gayatri tried all she could to bring her family together but it didn't happen but her sudden death brought everyone under the same room.
She portrayed the perfect wife and mother because she expressed her love for her husband openly like it is so obvious that Harish can't live without his wife, after her demise he had to cope with living without her and also trying to do things for himself even something as easy as wearing his shoes properly.

The part that broke me was when they all recieved a schedule text message from their mother to remind them to celebrate Harish' s birthday, it was so emotional. And when the last son return from hiking just to show his mother his certificate because he wasn't aware that she passed . She had earlier challenged him into doing it, but she's not alive to celebrate with him.

In my view, the scenario in which Tara was having difficulty accepting the ceremonial rights was overly drawn out and contained some repetitions.

Aside that , i will rate the movie 4/5. The movie reminds us about the bond of family, the healing process for a loss, the power of unity and forgiveness. Most importantly it shows that people grief differently so don't be quick to judge .
