La escuela del bien y el mal (ENG-ES)

Saludos chicos, feliz jueves ya casi fin de semana (gg). La semana pasada puse en mi lista unas películas y series pendientes por ver en netflix. Entre ellas esta "La escuela del bien y el mal", que por cierto no tenia ni la remota idea de qué se trataba, solo que era algo de fantasía.

Greetings guys, happy Thursday and almost the end of the week (gg). Last week I put on my list some movies and series pending to watch on netflix. Among them is "The School of Good and Evil", which by the way I had no idea what it was about, only that it was something fantasy.

Lo primero que llamó mi atención y que por supuesto me robo el aliento fue ver que dentro de la trama estaba Charlize Theron con un ambiente bastante familiar que me hizo recordar a Alicia en el país de las maravillas.

The first thing that caught my attention and of course stole my breath was to see that within the plot was Charlize Theron with a quite familiar environment that reminded me of Alice in Wonderland.

Me pregunté por supuesto la razón por la cual tenia el cabello tan parecido a dicho personaje, pero ya luego entendí, resultando que en dicha escuela recae cada una de las historias y cuentos de fantasías que conocemos.

I wondered of course why she had hair so similar to that character, but then I understood, it turns out that in that school lies each of the stories and tales of fantasies that we know.

Las primeras escenas son algo llamativa la verdad y es clave para el desenlace de la película. Yo por supuesto me sentí engañado al principio pero ya luego al notar ciertas incongruencias noté que algo estaba mal en lo que estaban dando a entender.

The first few scenes are quite striking and are key to the outcome of the film. Of course I felt deceived at the beginning but later on when I noticed certain incongruities I realized that something was wrong in what they were implying.

Por un momento pensé que estaban haciendo algún tributo a Harry Potter por la estructura de la escuela. Pero realmente hay bastante diferencia, solo fue una especie de deja vu.

For a moment I thought they were making some tribute to Harry Potter because of the structure of the school. But there really is quite a difference, it was just a kind of deja vu.

Lo interesante es que toda la historia en si recae en dos jovencitas cuyas vidas son un poco complicadas dado que no se sentían a gusto con el ambiente donde residían. Lo bueno es que siempre se tuvieron una a la otra y que con esa amistad pudieron superar diversas dificultades.

The interesting thing is that the whole story itself revolves around two young girls whose lives are a bit complicated because they did not feel comfortable with the environment where they lived. The good thing is that they always had each other and with that friendship they were able to overcome several difficulties.

Sin embargo, todo tiene un limite y ambas desean de alguna forma salir de dicho pueblo. Algo que de una forma inesperada se cumplió pero que trajo consigo mismo enfrentamientos que quebrantaron amistades.

However, everything has a limit and both of them want to somehow get out of that town. Something that in an unexpected way was fulfilled but that brought with it confrontations that broke friendships.

Ambas terminaron en el lugar que tanto soñaron, pero estaban en direcciones opuestas dado que por sus personalidades sentían que no estaban en el lugar correcto, hablando entre en bien y el mal.

Both ended up in the place they dreamed of, but they were in opposite directions because their personalities felt that they were not in the right place, speaking between good and evil.

Los del bien vestían acorde a lo que les caracteriza, jóvenes elegantes y risueñas, mientras que en el mal todo era contrario, entre mas desagradable mejor.

Those of the good dressed according to what characterizes them, elegant and smiling young women, while in the evil everything was the opposite, the more unpleasant the better.

Sin embargo todo esto formaba parte de un "equilibrio" en donde el mal quería la muerte del bien y el bien solo se defendía del mal sin el derecho de atacar primero para no romper la normativa que les representaba.

However, all this was part of a "balance" where evil wanted the death of good and good only defended itself from evil without the right to attack first so as not to break the rules that represented them.

Al final las mentiras se vuelven parte de la manipulación de intereses, y hace que el equilibrio colapse, viéndose la vida de todos en peligro y por supuesto la posibilidad de regresar a su pueblo, algo nulo.

In the end the lies become part of the manipulation of interests, and makes the balance collapse, seeing the lives of all in danger and of course the possibility of returning to their village, something null.

Por como termina la película de más de dos horas, se deja ver que hay una continuación, y la verdad es que es necesario dado que hay que contar aún mas la historia de algunos personajes importantes.

From the way the two-hour film ends, it is clear that there is a sequel, and the truth is that it is necessary since the story of some important characters needs to be told even more.
