Uncharted is a very interesting movie not just because the opening scene kicked off with some action but the movie was diluted with some adventure.

The moment I saw Tom Halland I knew some Spider Man stunts were going to be featured, not because that happens in all his movies but I just had a hunch and I am glad I wasn’t disappointed.

I kinda liked that about the movie. See Spider Man 4 for more details.

What I never really planned but feels kinda good is making movie reviews centered around action, scifi, adventure, shooting and fighting scenes.

I seem to have developed interest for such. So, if you are a lover of such genres of movie you should check out my former reviews.

UNCHARTED is a great movie that kicked off with some action and ended in the most unexpected way and that is one thing I didn’t like.

Nathan Drake, (Tom Halland) and Victor Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg) seemed to have worked all through the scenes only to lose what they had suffered for at the end. They however left with some consolation.

The movie is a story about a hidden treasure which Nathan and his lost brother had always craved for as young boys. However, they got separated and that was how they lost contact.

While trying to find his brother, Nathan came across Victor, who seems to lure him into going on an adventurous journey to finding a hidden treasure under the guise of finding his brother.

At some point Nathan found out the whole truth and the fact that Victor had not been totally straight with him.

They both agreed to steal a key at an auction but it seemed Victor never really cared about Nathan once he had his hands on the key.

This built some distrust and almost made Nathan back out of the adventure. But he later changed his mind and decided to join forces with Victor alongside Chloe Frazer, a female treasure hunter.

Chloe had one of the keys that is very vital to their treasure hunt while Victor had the other and this was the reason for the synergy.

Although, Chloe tried escaping with both keys but later had to succumb to working with Nathan and Victor because she discovered she couldn’t interpret the treasure map on her own.

Chloe later betrayed the duo as it was revealed that she was working as a secret ally for Santiago Moncada (Antonio Banderas), a rival and major enemy who had interest in the treasure and secretly hired Chloe to carry out his tasks.

Although, Santiago had an assistant he hired, a female assassin and Victor’s rival, known as Braddock, he decided to take extra measures by secretly hiring Chloe.

This doesn’t sit well with Braddock and she later murdered Santiago. This made her the main antagonist in the movie.

After Chloe betrayed Nathan and Victor and Santiago got murdered, Chloe was taken hostage by Baddock. Nathan and Victor were on the same plane where Chloe was taken hostage.

Fortunately, the Trio escaped alive but Chloe and Nathan landed at the same location while victor with the help of a parachute landed somewhere else.

Chloe again renewed her alliance with Nathan but as he suspected, she tried betraying him again.

She stole the map and left while Nathan was asleep. Unknown to her, she had picked a wrong map that only leads to a wrong destination other than the treasure she sought.

After Nathan had figured out the location of the treasure by deciphering the secret message his lost brother had left, he headed to the location and he was right.

Victor had earlier placed a tracker on Nathan’s phone and that was how he was able to locate him, unfortunately for them, Braddock was also on their trail.

There was a lot of fighting and shooting, in the end, Nathan and Victor were able to escape but not with the two gigantic ships filled with treasures, they only left with a few gold bars.

I’ll score the movie an 8 out of 10 and will definitely recommend to my fellow action movie lovers.
